Summary: GREAT!
Review: These are great books. At first, I didn't want to read them because they were about a boy, but my dad bought the first one when I was 7 and started to read it out loud. It was so good, I awaited all the others with anticipation. I can't wait until they make the 5th book paperback, because we had to lug it onto an airplane yesterday just to finish reading it, and paperback would make it a lot more easy to take it around! If 5 stars is the best, this series should deserve a 7, or at least a 6! This is from me, PotterFan4Eva!

Summary: Hats Off to a wonderful Set of Books!!!
Review: being a 30 year old man. I was not exactly sure what the mania was over the Harry Potter Books. However after much pressure from a coworker; he finally brought me the 1st book " HP and the Sorcerers Stone". I read it in 2 days and continued to read the other 3 books with a period of 2 weeks. with a heavy heart i had to wait a month to read the 5th book and compeleted it in 4 days. The books are truly wonderful and open up your mind and imagination to a world That is truly magical. I wish I could have those powers just to see what it would be like. I now have to wait for the 6th book and will definately wind up reading the books again over and over till that day comes. J.K Rowling creates charactors and shows them as they mature. they arent with the same old personalities. We see them go through everything that a normal teen would go through. such as first loves, responsibility; and life in general. I eagerly await the 3rd movie due next year and the 6th book. Cheers!!!!

Summary: Arguably the greatest book series of all time
Review: You no doubt by now have heard of the Harry Potter books. In addition to the books themselves, there's been movies, video games, board games, even LEGO sets. There's no doubt on earth that Harry Potter has received worldwide popularity, and that popularity is deserved.

All four books are instant classics that anyone should own. I should know; I own and have read all four of these books (in addition to the fifth book, "The Order of the Pheonix").

Summary: Over 35 and loved it
Review: I ordered the box set, knowing I wanted to read them without having to wait to pick up the next. Good thing I did because I tore through all four books within two weekends and a week. Picked up another right after I'd finished one. Kept the pace active, yet brought a lot of information in slow enough so as not to push too much at once.

I really enjoyed reading the characters' development. I'd rather they have truer personalities than "fictional fluff." Each character had their own unique styles, and with as many characters as JK Rowling brought forth, she did a wonderful job saving each character from having carbon copies and lackluster personalities.

As far as what I have heard about these books being "demonic based" or "terrible for kids", I have not seen proof of the statements. From what I read, the children were especially concerned with what was right or wrong. And those characters who associated themselves with the "dark arts" side of majic, it was clearly understood by the children what their roles were, etc. I saw them portrayed as human (Not "Muggles")with realistic personalities and thought proceesses. They were lucent and self-aware.

I thoroughly enjoyed each book. I am eager to read more of her writings as I now feel a bit "in withdrawl" from the characters. I would highly reccommend them to not only older children (some of the scenes I found might be a bit harsh for younger children), but for adults who are looking for a magical escape.

Summary: Simply Wonderful
Review: The book is absolutely riviting...it was truly a pleasure to read. I loved it so much that I actually felt a little sad that had finished the book so quickly. J K Rowling has created something truly amazing.

Summary: Harry Potter at his best!
Review: I highly recommend these books for anyone who wants to escape into a world of magic, mystery and adventure. Harry Potter, also know as The Boy Who Lived, is a famous boy wizard who survived a killing curse as a baby; hense his nickname. Harry escapes his less than ideal homelife when he gets accepted to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Each book offers a new adventure and page-turning mystery. Harry and his best friends Ron and Hermione are curious, intelligent and fun.
After you have read these four books, you can purchase the 5th book. I have to warn you though: The 5th book isn't that great (I only give book 5 two stars).
