Summary: Need to read it to be convinced
Review: I blew off the entire series thinking on my own that it was just another mainstream fad. I don't know why I started reading, but now I am convinced, this is excellent material for anyone child at heart, and arent we all? Yes I am saying that this is a cheerful set for all. Actually you cant beat this, I know all these books will become Icons of reading and remain so for a long long time to come.Also Recommended SB: 1 or God By Karl Mark Maddox

Summary: Great Series for Entire Family
Review: Very simply J.K. Rowling captures the interest of all ages with her wonderful imagination, descriptions, and suspense. Every one in the family over the age of 8 devours these books as soon as they are purchased and since we're waiting for the fifth, we are going back and re-reading! A wonderful way to get your kids into chapter books!

Review: My friend Jenica got me into reading the Harry Potter books. She told me that they were very fun to read. She was right...I couldn't even put them down. My favorite book was the third, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban.I just started reading the fourth book and it has already grabbed my attention. I can't wait until the Harry Potter Movie is out at theaters...I am probably going to be the first in line buying tickets...Well, I just wanted to say give the Potter books a chance you will find that they are extraordinary.

Summary: Harry Potter and My Thoughts On It
Review: I think that the Harry Potter series is a great fantasy series for kids and adults of all ages. My grandpa read these books and he really liked them. I got interested through my brother. He bought the books, read them, and said they were really good. So I decided to check them out. I loved them! My favorite character was Hermione Granger, one of Harry's best friends. I'm a lot like her, and I think she rocks! I read all 4 existing books and can't wait for 5-7. I also can't wait for the movie, coming out November 16th. Personally, I wanted to be Hermione, but I was guessing that was too big of a dream to come true. I'm not even British! I can do a really good British accent, though. At first, I thought Harry Potter was really stupid because of some of the advertisements, such as "Gee wizard! It's Harry Potter!" I'm really glad I looked past the advertisement and read the books. I really liked them!

Summary: A Magical Treat!
Review: I run my own movie theatre and my roommate convinced me that I needed to read the Harry Potter books before the film opens next month. From the moment I picked it up I was immediately addicted! The author has a wonderful way of capturing Harry in akward and humorous predicaments (I couldn't help but laugh out loud at some of them!), and her writing style appeals to more than just children (I'm in my mid-twenties).
Now I can't wait for the next book, and I'm even more excited for the movie!!

Summary: Why Harry rocks.
Review: A friend recently told me about her somewhat "addiction" to the Harry Potter series, and I being one that has been curious about young Mr. Potter since he set foot onto shelves decided to give them a try. As a future English teacher I thought that it would be worth my time, seeing as many children enjoy these books and I would have something to relate to my students, being that I too had read such interesting books. I was shocked with the first book. And that was a good thing. I know that when I was younger, a Harry Potter book would have frightened me to death. The series that I read were The Babysitters club, Boxcar children, and American Girl books. There weren't such dark undertones in those series, but Harry packs a punch that the other series didn't have. Both male, female, young and old can enjoy these novels. Parents won't be bored with cheesy plot twists, flat characters, and static behavior, because Potter has suspense that lasts long after the book is placed on a shelf. I read the first 2 books in 2 days, and I didn't have to lock myself in my room to finish them, I WANTED to finish them. Rowlings has a hit with Potter and is a great author, not only for children but adults as well. Anyone that can stimulate reading in youth deserves all the awards that she has recieved, and go read them, you'll like them as well.

Summary: bonding with my daughter
Review: SO we've read them all, together. Who knew that I would be the one who couldn't wait for her to come home from school so we could continue on with our readings. I had to force myself not to skip ahead in this series while she was at school. The books are great. My daughter and I entered a mystical magical world together. As a result we actually started to do all kinds of creative things together. We bought singing lessons Cds- Voice Lessons To Go by Vaccarino which we do a few times a week in the car, we bought Berlitz Spanish Cds- also an activity together in the car, and we are doing an exercise video together. Harry Potter started us on a great journey together. Third book is our favorite. Can't wait for the next one!

Review: I have been a true Harry Potter fan for 6 years now. These books are GREAT. Harry Potter books are fantasy books about wizards and their wonderful world and about a young boy who falls into a world of magic and adventure. Harry Potter is full of bravery and is one of the best characters I have ever had the pleasure of running into. He is surrounded by good and the bad but he faces it all with courage in his heart and love by his side. Harry Potter Books have turned millions of children into readers and never fail to be exciting, sad, and funny. I have fallen in love with the characters that J.K. Rowling presents in Harry Potter Books and envy them for their unique and realistic personalities. If you haven't read these books you are positively insane and you must immidiately read them or be shot. These are the greatest books ever written and I applaude J.K. for her writting that always ceases to fall past perfection.
