Summary: The Best Harry Potter Collection Yet!
Review: I haven't bought this collection yet, but I am going to soon. I have read all four Harry Potter books and was simply amazed by the suspense written. J.K. Rowling did a wonderful job at writing this book. Even though I don't own this boxed collection I still know about it. You get J.K. Rowling's signature, individual number, cool box to keep your collection safe in, and best of all, you get all four Harry Potter books all for a lovely price. If you're into a great fantasy that has great comedy, action, mysteries, and suspense then I say buy this collection now!

Summary: H.P. Rocks!!!!!!!!!
Review: Harry Potter rocks! If you didn't read these books yet, it's about time! If you don't like science fiction, don't worry, this is a different type of it. I don't like science fiction, but these books are just wow. For people who already read the books, I have a few things to say: Rumor-5th book will be "Harry Potter and the Order of the Pheonix". I recomend "A Wrinkle In Time" (If you're Polish, also read "Corka Czarownic"). A lot of people tell me I'm obsesed with H.P. ( I know all the actors names & faves, I know all the spells, and etc.), but it's impossible not to. Isn't this a cute wizard? (sideways) *<l :)

Summary: JK Rowling captures the awkward years in a magical tale
Review: Who doesn't remember how difficult those adolescent and teenage years were? Fluctuating hormones and decisions between right or wrong can make an adult's head spin. Rowling's characters come to life as she spins her tales about a wizard highschool. For any kid who has ever felt like the odd duck, this series shows that being "the weird one" is okay. Harry is refreshingly average in most aspects--he's not the brainiest kid, he doesn't always make the right decisions, he sometimes loses his temper to his own detriment--he's just like any teen I've ever known. My son--age 7--and myself--29 and holding--have enjoyed reading the stories together at bedtime. What a wonderful way to connect to your kids in the age of electronic hypnosis!!! Can't wait for the fifth book!

Summary: J.K. Rowling Is One Sweet Author!
Review: A series of books you must have and read. Harry Potter books are the best. You may not think you like wizards and witches and sorcery books, but these are different. The Harry Potter series keeps you on the edge of your seat! Just when you think you've figured it al out, "Pow!", something unexpected happens that keeps you flipping the pages. Harry Potter, a child still, gets the chance to go to Hogwarts, a wizarding school. He makes friends and enemies too. The thing about Harry, though, is that he has secrets even he doesn't know about. Each book of the series gets better and better as you go. With twists and turns, laughs and hardships, these magical books are the ones for you!

Summary: Harry Potter
Review: The book Harry Potter is the best book I've ever read!!!!!!I think this book is the bomb! This book tells about a young boy (Harry Potter) who's a wizard and lives with his mean aunt and uncle. Harry found out he was a wizard when he was 11 years old. He went to a witch&wizarding school which is called HOGWARTS,when he knew he was a wizard. Harry had two friends named, Ronald Weasley and Hermione Granger. They all went through exciting adventures together. To me, this book is the most ENGAGING stories ever!!! It's a book that I never wanted to put down! All the Harry Potter series are always making you wondering what will happen next. It always make me hold my breath before turning the next page. I know this is the best book because most adults and especially kids like me really enjoy the Harry Potter series. I never knew this book was THIS interesting! The Harry Potter books took me places I've never seen before. It's like I've already been there myself! THIS BOOK IS RADICAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Summary: Harry Potter Rules All Ages!
Review: My parents bought the Harry Potter books for me as a Christmas present because they heard how popular the books were. I was hooked immediately!! This books are just great and J.K. truly works her magic in them. She has managed to bridge the generation gap with just these 4 books. I have to say it is not the books that are magical but it is J.K. with her magical wand that has united readers young and old together again. Hopefully critisism won't ruin the great things she has done with these books.

"Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone" the first book in this series tells of Harry's first year at Hogwarts school. It begins when Harry as a baby is sent to live with his disgusting aunt, uncle, and cousin when he was just a baby after his parents were killed by an evil wizard. Harry grows up with no notion of being anything close to a wizard. All he know is that he is a worthless creep in the Dursley's eyes. However when he turns 11 he begins to see changes. Before he knows it he is wisked off to Hogwarts with the gamekeeper Hagrid. Thus his adventures begin. He quickly makes friends with Ron Weasly, and becomes the first first-year student to participate in Quidditch. I have to say my favorite aspects of this book was how J.K. imagined up Quidditch. Truly a work of magic. This first book totally blew me away and I read it in 3 hours.

Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets focuses on Harry's second year at Hogwarts. When Harry returns to the Dursley's during summer break he finds himself very not welcomed and confined to his room. Harry is more than happy to return to Hogwarts. However things at Hogwarts are not the same. The whole school is in cahoots when Finch's cat Mrs.Norris seems to have turned to stone. Harry, Ron, and Hermoine decide they have to investigate this mystery. However one day Hermoine seems to have found out something but is too mysteriously turned to stone. Soon more and more people suffer the same fate. However you won't believe who the number one suspect is, it is no other than Harry himself! This second book gripped me just as much as the first book. However for some reason I still like the first one better. The ending to this book is totally fantastic to read!

Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban is one of my favorites so far. Before returing to school Harry is warned by a mysterious House Elf named Dobby that someone is out to get him at Hogwarts. So Harry goes to school having bad feelings about this new year. When he gets to school Harry learns the reason why everyone is uneasy. It seems Sirius Black an escaped convict from the prison of Azkaban--is on the loose. Not only that, but he's after Harry Potter. His last words were "he's at Hogwarts." Why? The ending to this book was really very creative and totally came as a surprise. I also love the new Defense of the Dark Arts Teacher Professor Lupin. Unfortunately he turned out to be a werewolf but that is another whole different aspect of this sorry. To sum it up this book was just truly magical!!! Another thing I liked about this book is that it offered new insights into Harry's past and his parent's past. This one was spectacular and the ending totally blew me away!!! This is probably the one I want to see the most if made into a movie.

Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire the fourth in the seven book series started out with a bang! Harry and his friend Ron decide to go to the Quidditch World Cup. However mysteriously the Dark Mark shows up. Everybody knows that is the sign of Lord Voldemart and Harry has had enough of that evil wizard for a life time. It was kind of disappointing to know there would be no Quidditch but I was totally excited to learn of the Triwizard Tournament. Hogwarts will vie with two other magicians' schools, the stylish Beauxbatons and the icy Durmstrang schools. Harry is mysteriously allowed to participate in the tournament even though he is underage. This leads to a whole new mystery finally leading up to the end when Harry finally has his confrontation with Lord Voldemart. The ending was kind of gory but I still thought it was justified. This fourth book totally blew me away again and even though it had 700 some pages the time just flew. Usually I would never read that long of a book!

The 2 year drought is almost over now because I heard Harry Potter number 5 is coming out early 2002. However J.K. has satisfied us with two Harry Potter school books which I highly recommend you read. The are very fun! The new released movie Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone should be another great see! Heard it was great! It seemed this two year drought hasn't been as bad as I thought it would be when I first heard it!! I can only say that I am going to be the first in line to see the movie and see the magic of J.K. come alive!!

Summary: WOW!
Review: I just couldn't understand what all the hoopla was all about. I mean who cared about some kid who was an orpahn and finds out he is a wizard? Just another story, right??? WRONG!

I had purchased the set some time back for my eleven year-old son. He has read the set and now my eight year-old daughter is reading the books in school. So much has been put out there about the books, that they promote or encourage spiritism, etc. and, of course, the movie is coming out, so I decided, not quite two weeks ago, to open up the first book find out for myself what the heck it was all about. Imagine my surprise when I couldn't put the book down! After reading the first book, I immediately went to the second, then the third and today I began to read the fourth book! The story is enthralling, engrossing and intrigues the mind. This series is for young and old alike. I can only hope the next book comes out soon and that the movie is as marvelous as the book!

Summary: Great Book! It's about time we let our kids have imagination
Review: I picked this book up, not for a child, but for myself. I am 41, and I loved it! I am all for teaching kids immagination, and so tired of hearing the people complain about what horrible things it will do to our children. Give me a break! Part of the problem now adays is that kids have been growing up too fast because people won't let them imagine, and won't let them have fun! Part of my fondest memories is that my parents made sure that I had an imagination, and encouraged it. I believed in Santa and the Easter Bunny (but I knew the religious difference - yes, it can be taught hand in hand), having my stuffed animals as friends when I felt alone, and playing pretend in general. This will be a tool to get the kids back to what they should be - kids! (PS - sorcerers and fairys have been around for a while, and I don't practice any spells! Remember Cinderella, Tinkerbell, the Sword in the Stone, and Sleeping Beauty, to name a few Disney movies?)Teach them how to imagine, and they will know the difference between real life, and play time!

Summary: good book
Review: I think that the Harry Potter series is a great fantasy series for kids and adults of all ages. My friends read these books and they really liked them. I got interested through them. they bought the books, read them, and said they were really good. So I decided to check them out. they were awesome. My favorite character was Hermione, one of Harry's best friends. I think she is cool. I can't wait for the movie, coming out November 16th. At first, I thought Harry Potter was really stupid because of some of the advertisements, I'm really glad read the book. I really liked them. I can't wait untill she writes another book.
