Summary: Spread the addiction
Review: Ok I have to admit that I resisted reading the Harry Potter series untill the third book came out. Then on an odd day my father picked the series up to see what all the hoop la was about it and he loved them so much that he insisted that I as his son read them. And read them i did.. The stories of Harry Potter, Hermione Granger, and his other friends are full of moral values, exitement, and high adventure. The books are designed to advance with the childs grade level and age. The first book (and this is my opinion not fact as far as I know) seems to be designed for fourth grade. it is a very simple read with easy vocab (well unless you try the character names) and themes that are appropriate for that age group. As you read the next book it heads into 5th grade reading level and so forth with all the books. I would highly recommend this to any parent that can see the moral themes behind the very enchanting storyline.

Summary: A Magical Experience
Review: The Harry Potter series is a book that I could read over and over again. I was totally amazed at the way that this book was written. I have never read a book that captured my attention as much as this book has. I highly recommend this book for anyone who loves a book that takes you to a magical world and lets you use you imagination in a way that you never thought was possible!

Review: I think this book was very good, the hole series was good the books went world wide in no time.I thought the best part was when harry's name was somehow put innto the gobblet of fire!the book was very big.I enjoyed all the books...But I liked this book the best.I cant wait for the next book to come out! hope it helps yeah!

Review: I am big fan of Harry potter, in fact I read every single one of the four books. Here is what I have to say, book 1 was good, book 2 is ok.., book 3 was the best, book 4 felt rush. So miss two. 3/5 stars

Summary: Harry Potter Hype and Controversy
Review: Harry Potter seems to have taken the world by storm. He is popular and controversial. As a Christian I understand some of the objections people have against the books. All I can say is this: the books are never openly hostile against Christianity or Jesus. When I compare these books to Phillip Pullman's His Dark Materials Triology, which is basically atheisit propoganda packaged for kids, I believe Christians are targeting the wrong series. Harry Potter is light hearted and imaginative. Let's face it-- there are books out there that are far worse. Harry Potter books contain very little questionable langauge and no steamy sex scenes. The characters stand up for their personal convictions and are compassionate. These books have inspired a new generation of readers. My opinion? There are better books out there. I recommend anything by JRR Tolkien and CS Lewis's Chronicles of Narnia.

Review: Rowling is amazing! Even years after I bought the first book, I still love reading all of them and have never grown tired of them! The characters are enchanting, the story lines are never dull, and they really are magical! A must for everyone who likes to read a good book or four.

Review: Take it from an avid reader, these books are wonderful!...I recently made it a point to see what the deal was about Hogwarts, quidditch, and a young man with a lightning shaped scar. I have read all four books and they are some of the most imaginative and fun reading i've done in awhile....kids should be encouraged to read other great works as well, but this collection is a must-have for young readers and anyone else who loves a good story about an underdog who defeats a wicked villian...
