Summary: Great Children's Classic
Review: This book was a great sell to my 6 1/2 month old daughter. She is easily attracted to the colorful pictures and easy words. It has caught her attention each and every time. This is a great book for every child to have in their library!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: An All Time Classic!
Review: This has been one of my favorites since I was a kid, and now I'm enjoying reading it to all the little kids (and big kids) in my family! Another book, though new, with this sort of feel is one I REALLY highly recommend, called, "The Whole Human Race" By Tim McFadden. This one will soon be a real classic as well.

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: A classic, but not one of the best.
Review: It's a classic, and I would recommend owning it, but it's not a top-ten story. Our daughter shows little interest in this book.

Summary: A soothing, comfortable poem that toddlers will love!
Review: When a 7-year-old reads Goodnight Moon, they'll probably think,"Why's this poem or book a classic?" And I can't blame them for saying that. First of all, it's not meant to be for them. It's meant to be for little toddlers and babies. Second of all, it's meant to be a bedtime story, and a very good one at that. There's no action, nothing surprising, or anything like that. But it has a very calm atmosphere, and like I said, is very soothing and comfomfortable for yor baby and/or toddler to listen to. This story-like poem almost guaranties to make your child sleepy, and maybe even fall fast asleep. It worked for my siblings and me!

Summary: The Bunny Does Not Want to Go to Sleep!
Review: While this book is wonderful and a favorite of my children, what I don't understand is why it takes this rabbit 1 hour and 10 minutes to say "Good Night" to everything. In our household, we call that "Stall Tactics"!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: A book that is read at least 8 to 10 times a day!
Review: Our child has us read this book to him so many times in a day that it has been worn out to the point that a second purchase is nessessary. The words just flow from page to page keeping his interest. The contrast from black and white to the color pages keeps him searching for the items that are read. This book is a must for any parent!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: A wonderful, calming book that has stood the test of time.
Review: This book is a must for all first time parents. The pages alternate between black and white, and bright cheerful colors. The text is wonderfully written, and gently calms things down. What a wonderful book!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: It Was a Great Book
Review: Even though it is a children's book, I still love to read it at night when everyone is asleep. It was good because the pictures where not like regular books, but that is just my opinion.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Timeless classic to be shared by parent and child
Review: In this fast paced world, sometimes in the simplest of things the most pleasure and reassurance can be found; such is the case when reading Goodnight Moon. Uncomplicated in her presentation Ms. Wise, utilizes repetition of images and familiar items, to make her bond with the youngest of readers. The beauty and consistency of the moon which shines brighter with every turn of the page adds depth to the appealling illustrations of Mr. Hurd. My son and I read it every night before we go on to our "new" works. This gives us a familiar place to start. A common place regardless of where the day has gone. In our own "great green room". A place which is ours...and too can be yours...Goodnight Moon!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: a classic of my own past
Review: quite simply, the book that started me reading, and that soothed my weary soul for innumerable evenings when i was a small boy. i can still, after many years, see the pictures and feel the words, which should be a testament to the lasting appeal of this book. share it with your children.
