Rating: Summary: Simply Gripping Review: I started showing my son this book when he was 3 months old, and he loved the pictures even then. It was a little too stimulating then to be a sleep aid, but now it's part of his nightly ritual. It's very sweet.
Rating: Summary: Very sweet and simple Review: My daughter clamored for this book when she was little. She is 3 now and I got her "My World" for Christmas this past year. It has also become a favorite. If you like Margaret Wise Brown's work, you have to get Runaway Bunny!! Its another favorite in our house!
Rating: Summary: The most favorite toddler book Review: This is a magical book that seems to fascinate young children. This was the most favorite book of my first daughter when she was a toddler and now my second daughther is also absolutely in love with it. It is a great book for a short reading before going to bed. It is also a great book for a child to keep next to his/her pillow at night. Both of my children loved looking for and finding the little mouse on the color pages. They also liked reading this book aloud to themselves again and again. Alternating color and black and white illustrations and simple text seem to resonate very well with children of toddler age. "The Moon Book" is the "best book ever" for toddlers.
Rating: Summary: Sweet Dreams Review: My son enjoys this book. The rhythm is very soothing and he enjoys looking at the brightly colored pictures. He almost looks disappointed when I finish reading and close the book.
Rating: Summary: Good night little bunny! Review: A wonderful little board book for young hands with a simple story line parents are familiar with ... the good night ritual. Little bunny continues to say good night to EVERYTHING (including the moon) as mother bunny tries to get him to sleep. A classic.
Rating: Summary: A must have for anyone with children Review: I received this book as a shower gift. I thought it was going to be forever before I got any use out of it. I was told that it is good to read to your baby even when they are really tiny, so I did. I would set my daughter in my lap and read to her. She start following the bright pages as soon as she could focus. She loves to look at the pages and she is now starting to laugh at different pictures on the pages. We look for the mouse all the time. This is a great book and it will continue to get much use for many years, I can tell. I am glad it is a good sturdy book.
Rating: Summary: We all grew up with it; now your kids can, too! Review: I could probably recite this book in my sleep, and there's no reason our kids shouldn't grow up with the same warm fuzzy feelings when they think of this book and its soothing, reassuring bedtime rhymes. And, if you're lucky enough to still have your parents, they can delight your kids by starting the story with, "your mommy/daddy used to LOVE this book, when he/she was your age..." As they say in the ads... Priceless.
Rating: Summary: Never tires Review: I love to read this book to my son before he goes to bed. I never tire of it and recently he pointed out to me that the mouse is on every page. Now we look for the mouse and love when the old lady whispers hush!
Rating: Summary: a classic "must have" for your childrens' library Review: Goodnight Moon is a definite favorite in our house. I've been reading it to my 23 month old son for as long as I can remember, and he asks for it by name. He calls the book "a balloon" because he remembers the "red balloon" that is among the many different things you say goodnight to in the book. Now he likes to "read" the book to me and point out the different things in the pictures. A classic!
Rating: Summary: Wonderful Book Review: I've read this to my nephew so many times, over and over. If you read it with the right cadence, you can actually cause yourself to fall asleep. It is a must have for anyone with children around them, I buy it for expecting parents all of the time now.
