Summary: Great book!
Review: I was a teaching assistant for a preschool camp that focused on "bugs." Most of the children already knew the words by heart! It was a lot of fun. Each child drew a piece of food on a paperplate, and then we strung them all together with pipecleaners. the end result was a very long caterpillar!

Summary: Your kid needs this book.
Review: This book goes through the days of the week, telling you what the hungry caterpillar ate each day. Each day he eates one more item than the day before, and it has pictures of what he ate with holes punched in little caterpillar sized bites, which my daughter found extra intriguing. It's perfect for learning numbers and names of foods with real young children, and days of the week when they're slightly older. Also, there's very few words on each page, so it held my daughters attention even when she was only a few months old. It's a board book too, so it's still sturdy after two years.

Summary: My 6-week old enjoys this book!
Review: The pages are colorful enough to catch the eye of a 6-week old child, and the story is a classic. This is a must-have for any children's collection.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Fun!!! even at four months
Review: I got this book as a shower present and I thank the person who gave it tome every time I see them! My son just loves the book - he laughs at the pages with food and fruits and best of all the book is basically indestructable - which I learned after a big formula spill. Buy this book early and read it often!
