Summary: The catipillar who ate too much
Review: The Very Hungry Catipillar,by Eric Carle is about a catippilar. When he is born, he is very hungry. The whole week he eats lots, and lots of food. This is a great book. The pictures are great and I love the surprise ending!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Child Pleaser
Review: Children love this book. The subtle introduction of days of the week and ascending counting scheme make it a nice choice for pre-school and early grade classrooms. For these reasons and naming of foods make it a perfect book for new ESL students. Reading this book FEELS GOOD - in typical "Carle fashion" the pages increase in size as the caterpillar eats more and increases in size. The ending is a beautiful (and educational) transformation.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Excellent book! A "must have" for any child's library (3-7)
Review: Such a fun and somewhat interactive (counting) book for little ones. My son loved this book from before he could read until well after he'd learned to read. Now, at age 13, he still enjoys reading this to his 4 year old sister. And ANY book by Eric Carle is worth buying!! His illustrations are extraordinary!

Summary: great book for a child
Review: My 2 year old daughter just loves this book one of her favorites for bed time.It is as the title refers a story about a caterpillar who starts out from and egg and hatchs and on an adventure for food.It is very easy book that teaches them some fruit days of the week and some numbers and is one of those book that is not to bad to read over and over to them.I belive there are four or five books that make a complete set they are all great. This book i thought was easy enough that it was not long that my daughter could pretty much tell me the story

Review: I learned about a butterflys chrysallis thingy and had no problem with it, even though it says that butterflies have coccoons. It is a baby board book. ..

Summary: Mmm, mmm, good
Review: This was the most popular book in my kindergarten class. And secretly, I enjoy this book too. . . a little too much. It's lovely to see the goofy looks on the kid's faces when the little caterpiller makes his way through cakes, fruites and other goodies. But what is his purpose in life? He becomes a butterfly. I think it gives us some hope.

Summary: The very hungry caterpillar
Review: This book is about a caterpillar that hatches out of an egg one sunday morning. It eats through alot of food until it finally settles down and makes a cacoon.
I think this is a good book it has good illustrations and it teaches kids about caterpillars and butterflys. I think the age rating for this book is 3-9 because it has a good amount of words and is probably the most widely known childrens book.

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: Feed Me
Review: I would give this book to a 3-5 year old child because I think any older and the child would get very bored with the story line and pictures. This book teaches the stages of a caterpillar's life and that everything changes over time. I think this is a good book for the age group indicated and that many of them will enjoy this book.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Great Book
Review: Lots of color and a great learning tool. I highly recommend this book for young children. My 2 month old stares at the colors as I read to him.
