Rating: Summary: classic Review: This book is so sweet and the illustrations are timeless. It uses some words you don't often find in this level of book so that is nice to introduce new vocabulary.
Rating: Summary: Like "American Idol" for Books...UPDATE Review: Though i really enjoy Billy Crystal as an Actor/Comedian, this book (which I'm sure 100% sincere) was over-the-top sappy for my liking - but I will give Crystal kudos for titling it appropriately and not misleading readers. I had complained of the rhythm, and am taking that back. It's not perfect (and should be) but there's much worse out there. However, the 2-star rating remains because this is also an overdone idea (type "I love you" in Children's search). It's identical to "I Loved You Before You Were Born" - except from the opposite sex. If you like a little cheese once in awhile and are comfortable with the same old story - then this might be a book you'd enjoy. Otherwise, I tend to feel that if it wasn't by a name promising to generate big bucks, this story would've been sitting in a rejection pile. Sweet idea...but overdone.I also highly suggest picking up a pen and paper and writing your own thoughts and feelings about your unborn grandchild. It's from the heart, personal and would be far more meaningful to both you and your grandchild then Billy Crystal's feelings on his.
