Rating: Summary: Beautiful! Review: Beautiful story and illustrations! A bedtime must! As a grandparent of 7, I also highly recommend "The GigANTic Little Hero," "HumbleBee," and "The Non-Praying Mantis" by Matt Whitlock.
Rating: Summary: Billy's heart is wide open. Review: Billy's heart is wide open. Like every good first time grandpa, he eagerly anticipates his grandchild and imagines all the things they will do together. "On the inside cover Billy writes, "I can't believe I'm writing this 'cause I don't know who you are." However, the title says it all, "I already know I love you." Crystal has written a really enjoyable, touching, and sentimental story. The illustrations are soft and dreamy. This storybook is a keeper.
Rating: Summary: for every grandpa-to-be Review: Even on the inside covers of I ALREADY KNOW I LOVE YOU, Billy Crystal tells of his delights as he awaits his grandchild's birth: "I'm waiting to see you in ballet shoes, or is it football pads?..."Rebeccasreads highly recommends I ALREADY KNOW I LOVE YOU, with its charming images by Elizabeth Sayles, as a perfect book for Grandpas-to-be. It is filled with fun & hugs & ways to welcome your grandchild, of either gender, into your family & the world.

Rating: Summary: Does The Talent Ever End? Review: For anyone who has seen his movies, or his permformances at the Academy Awards, then you know this guy is talented. He is funny. That alone is worth the price of admission. He can act, can sing, and now, write. As always, a delight from a delightful entertainer. I also recommend The Little Guide To Happiness. Also a delight.
Rating: Summary: A wonderful read about being a grandparent Review: I absolutely loved this book! The grandfather-to-be talks about what activities he will do with his new granddaughter. Then he talked about when his daughter was young and the things they did together.I especially liked the part where he said that he took her to the movie and he didn't watch the movie, but instead he watched his daughter's face. It was a touching read. It nearly brought me to tears. The illustrations are superb! This would be a great book for the parent-to-be. Bravo to Billy Crystal!
Rating: Summary: I Aready Knew I Would Love This Book! Review: I Already Know I Love You, written by the comedian and versatile everything man, Billy Crystal, is a love letter to Crystals first grandchild -- the daughter of his daughter and Mr. Crystal's granddaughter. In this small book Mr. Crystal speaks volumes as he describes what he plans to do with his granddaughter. And as the author's feelings of joy gush from the pages as he explains he knew he already loved this child, the reader can't help but be caught up in these words. This is a wonderful gift and book to read for parents, grandparents and children of all ages.
Thank you Mr. Crystal for expressing how every grandparent feels the moment they hear, "You're going to be a grandparent." And I bet no matter how many grandchildren people have, they always feel as though they already know they will love them too.
I highly recommend this book. The next best thing to seeing Mr. Crystal on television, in a movie or during a live performance.
