Review: This book was very confusing. It didn't make sense at all. The words used in this book were like 3rd grade English. But when I finished the rest of the book was happy that I was done reading. I never read one of Caroline B. Cooney books before and I know why. Though I am not that great of a reader I still finished the book.

Review: This is a very well-written book, as are all of this author's. However, I felt that there was not enough action, and that things moved a bit slowly. The conclusion was satisfying. I did enjoy the book, but I would recommend choosing another of Cooney's books, such as Twins or The Face on the Milk Carton.

Review: This was a really neat novel. I read it and I was so awed by the written work, I have read every single book of Ms. Clooney's. This story is about a teenage girl who is alone at her dad's house, until her ex-stepmother comes and thrusts a few week old baby boy into her arms then leaves. Who's the father? Why did she give the baby to her? Will she ever come back? This is a must-read for all of Ms. Clooney's fans. Great work, Ms. Clooney!
