Summary: After 10 years, I still remember
Review: I first read this book when it came out 10 years ago. It has lingered in my mind since and I can not express how much I enjoyed this book. What I remember most is the mindset of the world towards the end of the book. Seeing where society is now, I really don't see it a far flung idea for people to have mass suicides. It happens on small scales all the time. Who is to say that in the future it won't be more common place? This book shows determination in the young girls life, but also a possible course that the world may take. A world that belongs again to the animals. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to contemplate where we may yet go. After 10 years, the ideas remain, but the sad part is when you realize that some of the ideas are coming true.

Summary: If I could give this book a six I would
Review: I love to read and a book must be really well written for me to praise it. This book Eva was a great book. It is about a girl who is in an car wreak and has one chance to live. To put her mind in a Chimp's body (one of the only animals left) and while this is happening the world is falling appart. Eva must learn how to live as a human an a chimp. If I could give this book a 6 I would.

Review: I read Eva in a book report and to an 11 year old it was a very good book, but complicated to understand but had some great chapters and the basic storyline was wonderful. I enjoyed this read and so did my fellow classmates and we all agreed that we certainly could feel what the story was explaining and if the story wasn't so complicated I would rate it 4 1/2 stars but then again, maybe it wasn't for my age group!?!

Review: I read this book for a boook report and i dont really like reading books. I usually end up finishing them up the weekend before there due. But as soon as I started to read this i couldn't put it down it was sooooooo good! My mind just got caught up into all the text. If you really like exciting books i suggest this book because it just traps you inside and you cant get out. if you read this book you wont want to put it down!

Summary: Wow! That surprized me!
Review: I read this book for a school book report and I will recomend it to people of all ages. It is a great story line and makes you want to read on and on. It is about a teenager who wakes up in a chimps body after an otherwise fatal car accident. It shows how she tries to save the chimps as she gets used to her new body. There a lot of hooks and the ending is very surprizing. I recomend that you read the book to learn more.

Review: I read this book some time ago 1-2 years ago for a required reading for school. It wasn't as good as I thought it would be. I mean the first few chapters where weird. But in the end it was. OK. Not the best but. OK. A Little confusing and boring at times. But not the worst. I would give it 3 stars.

Summary: This book was not okay
Review: I thought the book Eva, by Peter Dickinson was a very, let'ssay, different, book. The book was very interesting, but it was veryhard to relate to, as nobody on average goes through these problems that Eva was left facing. We found it very hard to relate to Eva and her conflicts, so we were missing out a big piece of what could have been a better reading experience. The book was interesting and a great learning experience, and provided many insights on the cruelty of our society, the way animals interact, and what appearance actually means in the life of a 13 year old girl. We're all 13 and 14 years old, so this was very interesting to read about. The book was not written as well as it could have been though, or so we believe. It was not as captivating as we would have liked, and just when something interesting happened that made us want to read more, the book would become boring again. This book was all over kind of bad, and we didn't really enjoy it, and would never recommend it to someone who we liked at all. But, if you think YOU got it bad, READ EVA.

Review: I was never into the science fiction type of literature, but this book was an exception. This is one of the titles I chose to read for a presention in a college literature class (Adolescent Literature). I read the entire book in about two days. I gave this book a high rating because I think that the adolescent age frame would really enjoy reading this novel. It's based on the future perspective of the world and how humans have totally destroyed the living space for animals. It has an unreality twist to the plot also when Eva is in a horrible accident and the only way that her mother and father can save their little girl is to turn her personality over to a chimp's body. With the science fiction twist and the easy understanding of the novel, I would definately encourage teens to read it. It's an interesting story with a good story line to read into. Even if you don't like to read science fiction novels, this certain novel is more than just a science fiction novel, it's a look into the future with a touch of family love and scientist's love for animals.
