Summary: where did all of the main characters go?
Review: I don't know about anybody else but from what I have read it seems like everyone feels the same way I do about what has happened to the Thoroughbred series. I mean like where did Cindy go not to mention Samantha, max, glory, blues king, ashleigh's other baby, wonder, pride, princess,mr wonderful, champion, honor, glorys kids, fleet goddess, fleeting moment, fleet street. Cindy and glory were my favorite not to mention shining, wonder, goddess and champion. It's just like bang champion and racing and all of the main characters are wiped out of existance. And who realy wants to hear about jumping. I like jumping and will take lessons some day but racing is more exciting to read about. I seriously say that we should all make complaints to the author. I sure hope Mrs. Campbell will take control of her series again before nobody will read these books.

Summary: Bring back Joanna!
Review: I have always been a huge fan of the Thoroughbred series until I read the latest books. They are absolutely nothing like the others, and the main characters are annoying! Has anyone else noticed that Ashleigh has changed completely, and the other main characters such as Sammy, Tor, Cindy and Max have disappeared. The main reasons I read these books was to follow these characters through their lives, and for the excitement of horse racing. Now these have both gone. I really want to know what happened to Sammy. Did she marry Tor? Have kids? And as if she would leave Whitebrook to move to Ireland anyway. Bring back Joanna Campbell and the old style of books with characters that you actually wanted to read about!

Summary: This is terrible!!!
Review: I have read all the Thoroghbred books up to number 25, and was very disappointed when heard about 'Christina' and her like of jumping. It seems that Cindy disappeared into to thin air. What happened here? I really miss reading the old series. Until the series returns to racing I have stopped reading, and I really think that the other author (Joanna Campbell) should return to writing, or stop putting her name on such lousy books. They were really gooo untill 'Cchristina' started. Thanks.

Summary: the recycling begins
Review: i have to say, alice leonhardt was never one of my favorite authors. i think this book is where the plot recycling within the series began in earnest. christina, who apparently learned nothing from previous books, is still a brat. and though i would understand and expect problems from a horse like sterling, it seems like she and chris never really make any progress.

that said, i've decided i like sterling as a character, and feel sorry for her that she has to put up with chris. then again, chris's behavior is kind of typical of a goal-oriented 12 year old. i also really enjoyed the scenes between chris and ash in this book. i was originally upset with the way ash's character was portrayed, but perhaps it's a good thing the she and chris don't magically get along.

i bought this book when i was about 14 years old, maybe even younger, and i'm still rereading it, along with others in the series. i'm saddened that the series will be ending soon. i enjoy reading and purchasing both the new and old books.

Summary: We want Cindy and Samantha!
Review: I haven't read this book, but have read all the others. What happened to all our old favorites? Tor, Mandy, Shining, Glory, Storm, Champion. . . GONE????? It seems a unique and wonderful series has been taken over by a horrid new writer who hasn't bothered to read the earlier books!!!

Summary: Christina dosen't hove an ounce of courage!!!
Review: I haven't read this book, but judging from the other books Christina is a stuckup, selfish, wimpy, pathetic,LOSER!!! Who in thier RIGHT MIND would trade a colt out of Wonder for a old grey hag that may not even want to jump? Christina shamed her family's heritage by doing that! The new authors can't even stay with one character for three books for crying out loud!I'm glad Jonna is coming back!We wont have to read this S**T for long! The TB series has become a fantasy. It's like saying"Welcome to the magical land called Thoroughbred, were your horses ALWAYS win and you get what ever you want."Christina and Sterling should find a cliff and jump of it.Why did it have to be this way? I hope Jonna fires the other authers! She is the only one who can fix the series now.

Summary: Stinks
Review: I literally see no difference between the plot of this book and that of the last. It is the same except this one is dressage. There is yet ANOTHER author! Yuck! Stinky! I can't believe what this series has turned into! Joanna Campbell, Karen Bentley, come back! What happened to Cindy? Really, this book si the same as #26. I bet #28 is the same as #27 and #26 excpet they are at camp. Honestly!

Summary: Fantastic!
Review: I love the new books just as much as the old books! All of these books are good, and I love horses and Eventing just like Christina. I think it's great that Sterling and Christina make such a great team. Christina's not a brat and Sterling is great! I highly think everyone who loves horses should read these books--especially this one. They're all so interesting and exciting!

Summary: What happened?!?!?!?!
Review: I loved reading about the racing. It was the only good series about horse racing. I loved the Christina in Ashleigh's Christmas Miracle. I agree with everyone else. I like the books, but Geeze. Where's CINDY, CHAMPION, WHY IS SAMMY IN IRELAND? WHAT HAPPENED TO HER? WHERE'S TOR, MANDY, HEATHER, WONDER, LEGACY? PRIDE, GLORY, HONOR, etc. I miss the old books. I have everyone, but I am going to stop getting these books if the racers and the old characters don't come back. Cindy was INJURED, THEN DISAPPEARED. This is a protest. Nothing is the same, and it seems to be the new author's fault. Not to place the blame, but 4 authors? We need the Thoroughbreds back. That's why the series is called that. Sterling doesn't seem very interesting. The author doesn't give her any feeling, and #27 is a repeat of #26. Racers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Summary: Horrible...
Review: I think this and 24 are definitely the WORST of the series. THE MAIN PLOT OF THIS BOOK IS THAT STERLING REFUSES TO JUMP SOMETIMES!!!!! HOW STUPID IS THAT?!?!?? ALso, in one part Christina hits sterling with a stick to make her go into a stream. sterling jumps in and then she stars shaking because she's AFRAID. WHAT KIND OF A DUMB HORSE IS SOOOO AFRAID OF WATER THAT SHE WON'T GO IN AND WHEN SHE DOES SHE STARTS SHAKING SHE'S SO TERRIFIED?!?!?! ANd then christina realizes that (gasp) she's made the worst mistake of all in making sterling do something she didn't want to do. That, for all you christinas out there, is a GOOD thing to do! and besides that she totally overworks sterling! And neglects missy! Taking one hour out of maybe 13 that she's awake to take care of a FOAL is not so hard! and what happened to mandy and everyone?? mandy would have been a BIIIIIIG help to christina. jilly could help melanie learn to exercise ride! and yvonne could help out with jumping too! cisco! top hat! they could help settle sterling down!
