Summary: GO LISSE LOVE LISSA
Review: I had to read this book in 8th grade for a class assignment. i hate reading books in school. maybe it was the name of the main character, maybe it was the fact that my teacher made the whole class pronounce her name like mine for less confusion. but this science fiction classic was one that i have gone through many times!!

the uncertanty of the future, overpopulation, not enough jobs, world run by machines, "the game", then the twists and turns and suprises, this book is too good to put down. really easy to follow and VERY ENJOYABLE!! I LOVED IT, and LOVE IT everytime i read it!!

Summary: The book was very different
Review: I like the way Benta was always the calm one . The best part is when the group lands on another planet to start colonizing the planet.I also like at everyone played an important part in the role of survival for the group.

Summary: I just keep coming back
Review: I read this book for the first time about 8 years ago. I think I've probably read it four or five times since. It was great then and now. I really enjoyed the futuristic plot, as well as the great character interactions. It makes you think, it keeps you reading, it keeps you coming back. Highly reccomended.

Summary: school books
Review: I read this in school about five or six years ago, more even. It was so good that since I left I have been looking for it and another. I couldn't remember who the author of either book was, only to find out that Monica hughes wrote them both! A fantastic story, with good content and a good ending. I didn't feel it gave me any messages, but sometimes they aren't there anyway ; sometimes a spade is just a spade.

Summary: Highly Enjoyable for the Age
Review: I remeber reading this book several times between my 6th and 7th grade years (I am now a Junior in College) and having enjoyed it immenslely. There are indeed parts that make you raise your eyebrow, however, most of these can be overriden by an examination of timeperiod and environment that Hughes has placed her main characters in.

A good piece of Sci Fi for those who are interested in it in that age category.
