Rating: Summary: 1 of the best SVHSY books! Review: This was one of my favorite books in the SVHSY series. B/c my favorite couple Conner and Liz are all in it. They share the very important kiss that Maria happens to witness. I felt bad for that girl, but let's face, she's needs 2 get over Conner, cuz he is SO over her!! And Melissa overdoses on sleeping pills b/c Will broke up with her. I dont care for either of them 2 much b/c their both lying backstabbers and they really deserve each other!! But they do make the series interesting! All in all, this book was very good, and i really think u should read it!!!
Rating: Summary: Grr... Review: Melissa's really getting on my nerves. And so is Will. Every time "Liss" cries, Will gives in. I was *so* happy when Will finally dumped her, but I know he's going to stick with her now that she's...well, you'll find out what she's done once you read the book!Anyway, even though Melissa and Will were annoying me, I loved the Elizabeth/Conner and Jessica/Jeremy storylines. I hope Jess & Jeremy stay together, and I felt the same way about Liz and Conner before, but now he's acting like such a jerk and is probably just doing the same thing to her that he did to Maria. Oh well. I never liked Maria anyway.
Rating: Summary: Mismatched couples, suicide attempts, broken hearts... Review: Another love triangle! Elizabeth's best friend and Conner's ex Maria catches them kissing and runs off crying. Elizabeth was desperately trying to hide her feelings for Conner, which obviously didnt work like a charm. Meanwhile, Will is planning to break up with Melissa but his plans fall to ashes when she tries to commit suicide at the end. Jeremy's father had a heart attack the night of Trent's party (book 5) and Jessica was confronted by Cherrie, Melissa and Gina, Will stood back like the lying creep he is, and Melissa's followers made Jessica run off. When Jeremy ran after her he was stopped by his mom who said his father was in the hospital...
Rating: Summary: The world revolves around Melissa Review: Melissa Fox has really messed up. After being publicly humiliated and casually dumped by Will Simmons ( the most rotten character to grace us with his presence in the series, ) she takes 27 sleeping pills in an attempt to end her pain and misery. Personally, I think Francine Pascal should make Will Simmons move to Neptune and be cut off from the rest of the world. I think Melissa is paranoid and needs help, but despite that, she is still my favorite character. I feel connected with her world, partly because I'm exactly like her, but the rest of the characters lack the internal problems Melissa has. I think we need to hear more about what Elizabeth and Conner are feeling in order to better understand them. Melissa's diary entries reveal a lot about her personality, and mine. Nobody else's do, except Lila Fowler and we don't hear from her much anymore. Also, where did Winston go? He was funny. This book was great, if you like Melissa, that is.
Rating: Summary: FANTASTIC Review: I loved it!!! Really realistic. I borrowed it at the school library and I ended up buying it from the library.
Rating: Summary: Best Book Yet!!! Review: I really loved this book. I think it is the best one in the series so far. Connor and Liz finally get together and I was soooo happy. They are just the perfect couple. Melissa tries to commit suicide when Will breaks up with her and Jessica feels really bad about it. Part of her think she caused it because she doesnt know about will breakin off his and melissa's relationship. Jeremy's father has had a heartattack and he puts everything on hold. Jessica thinks he's just avoiding her becuz he doesnt want to be with her and she's very angry. But the whole thing at the end is so sweet. Maria walks into connor's house and sees Elizabeth and Connor kissing and she starts to cry and is so hurt and everything, but, personally, i was glad that happened becuz i wanted her to know how connor and liz felt about eachother even though if i was in maria's place i would have felt like my heart had been ripped out too. VERY good book!!!
Rating: Summary: The best book in the series! Review: I've read up to #30 in the series, but still if someone asks me what my favorite books is, I have to say #6. Melissa's a real life character who is going through a tough time when Will breaks up with her and Liz is lying to her bestfriend about Conner. The books is based on some real life issues like sucide and lying to your bestfriend because your going out with the guy she likes. This is a must read to any sweet valley fan.
Rating: Summary: I loved this book Review: This book was great. I love Melissa, and this book maily was about her. I think that even though she is mandictive and cruel, she is really hurting inside. She is a character when you are reading her POV, you understand her thoughts and why she does the awful things she does. Will and her truly are made for each other, even if it takes him aa while to see that. I hope that Pascal bring Todd back in, to give Conner soem competition. Its like soem of the biggie charcters are not even in hte story at all.
Rating: Summary: This booked rocked Review: I think this was one of the best Senior Years. It focused on Melissa, who is my favorite character. And thats not just because its my name. Even though she in mandictive and cruel, she is weak at heart. Characters like her are interesting. One sided chachters like Liz are extremely boring. Over all I think, this was a great book, Pascal should write more about Melissa and Will.
Rating: Summary: Reality check Review: I believe that this book shows real teen issues, because it goes into Melissa's life, and shows us how her mother reacts to everything, and why Melissa acts horribly to Jessica. It shows her inner feelings, and how she really does care about Will. She's insecure about Jessica. This is why she makes Jessica's life traumatic. She doesn't want to admit defeat, but tries to hold on to Will, because he's her rock. Conner and Liz are mentioned, and it looks like Conner is finally falling for a girl. This book really changed my whole view on Melissa. Jessica and Jeremy make up, after that party scene from the night before. This book is one of the best that I've read so far.
