Summary: I loved the Book A Time for Dancing... A LOT!!!
Review: Reading this story makes you understand about friendships and how special they are. Sam and Jules (Best Friends) have to cope with Jules getting cancer and Sam has to deal with Jules not wanting to know her. Both of these girls' stories tie up with eachother and make one. If you like books with mystery, hope, some romance, and true life, then this book is for you. I think that anyone who loves friendship stories will love this book, it's just the greatest. It is my favorite book of all time and I have reccommended it to all my friends and they loved it too. This author has a great sense of taste for writing and I hope that she will write another wonderful novel. :)

Review: As a high school librarian, I purchased this book for my students. I took it home to read it so I would know what I was talking about when I recommended it to them. As I finished it, tears streamed down my face. My husband walked in right then and asked, "Over a teen book?" You bet! This is a good one well worth the time. A great way to get book report credit!

Review: It couldn't have gotten any better, i read it when i was 11 and now i'm 12. I enjoyed it a lot because it wasn't girlish like youu would think it would be by the title but it aws more powerful and strong then girlish and weak. everybody no matter what your age should atleast read it once in their life,it might make a dfference.

And how sometimes, you have to be strong enough to say goodbye. Because there really is a time to dance, a time to cry, and a time to let go of someone you love very much. Review: Desperate to read a sad and interesting friendship novel this month? Well, A Time for Dancing by Davida Wills Hurwin, must be the right book for you! The two main characters, Samantha and Juliana, are best friends and one day Juliana is diagnosed with lymphoma, which is a type of cancer. As Juliana's life becomes a total disaster, her friends and boyfriend also starts to drift apart. This emotional and touching story will grasp the reader's attention from the very first page and never let go until the whole story is carved into our memory forever. I will definitely recommend this book to everyone and I also give this novel a rating of 5/5.
One reason why this is a great novel is the author's effective use of words. The author's fabulous descriptions had led me to tears especially near the ending when Samantha says goodbye to Juliana who was lying in the hospital bed, lifeless. Davida Wills Hurwin allows the reader to picture the character's situation really well. To understand how effective her words are, then you must read this novel.Another thing that is done well in this book is the climax held within this novel. The climax occurs during the time when Juliana's whole life changes dramatically. She goes through depression, everything is falling apart, and most important of all, she could not dance the way she use to. This is a good place for the climax because Juliana's whole life was change the minute the doctor told her she was diagnosed with cancer. Numerous readers find this book, A Time for Dancing, hard to put down. Losing hope, going through the battle of cancer, friendship, and death, this novel will change your opinions about this world. Review: This novel is probably one of the most moving novels I¡¦ve ever read. I strongly recommend it to emotional people. You¡¦re going to LOVE this book. I honestly cried on, reading the last few pages. This book is really moving. I think this is because it is not only very sad, but also very realistic. It¡¦s the kind of story that could happen to anyone today. I also like this book because it is really easy to follow as it is written sort of like in a diary form; the reader can read the two main characters¡¦ point of view on everything. I would mostly recommend it to teenagers or young adults. I¡¦m not sure if children would quite get the whole point of this story. This story is about two teenagers, Julie and Sam, who are best friends. What happens to them is that they planned everything together, they were inseparable. One day, Julie discovers she has cancer, and Sam tries to be a true friend, but Julie¡¦s dreams shattered and nothing else counts for her anymore. Although her passion for dancing is still extremely strong, she can¡¦t face her friends, family and classmates. Slowly, she drifts into another world and practically shuts everyone out of her life. But Julie is very strong and has a strong determination. When she realizes her cancer might not go away, she decides to live her life to its fullest. My advice to you readers is to read on, even if some passages might seem quite boring. Because, there¡¦s a passage in the story where Julie has to go through a lot of treatments. This could bore you a little bit, but if you read on like I did, you will absolutely love this book in the end. Also, I can guarantee this story will somehow have an impact on you, like it did on me. Review: I LOVE THIS BOOK!!IT WAS JUST WONDERFUL!I couldn't put this book down for the life of me. It was a extemely well writen book. Great for teens. I related to this book so well. I really say that you should read this book and then the sequel "The Further You Run" I enjoyed it more than the origial book, but read this one first!BUY IT NOW YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT!

Review: this book was absolutely amazing. i loeved every page of it. it shows how true friendship can last through anything, and shows through the eyes of two best friends their look on life, death, and everything in between. I was crying, liek honestly crying for the last 54 pages, wtih vairous tear in between. This reamins the only book that has ever actually made me cry, though i get choked up easily. it was phenomenal, and really let you get to know the characters so you could feel empathy towards them, and feel the emotiosn they felt. I can't find words good enough to describe how amazing thsi book was. so READ IT!
