Summary: Get into the life of Izzy
Review: Izzy, Willy-Nilly is a very interesting book. It is about a girl who was in a car accident with a drunk driver who just happened to be her date that evening. So she had to get her leg amputated. Izzy tells about her time at the hospital and when she arrives back home. Before the accident she feels like she doesn't want to do anything, and after the accident when she is incapable to do anything, she wants to get out and have fun. This book teaches you a lesson that you should do what you want to do in life, because there may not be another time to do it. I liked the book, but I hated how she would just keep on talking about the same thing over and over again. Other than that, I enjoyed it.

Summary: Not the Greatest Book
Review: Izzy Willy-Nilly is a slow moving book and a boring one, I could fall asleep reading it. I hate how it tells what she does everyday when she does the exact same thing. It would have been better if the author would have made the book move faster, more details, and made it more exciting. Also in the book she repeats the same things. I would recommemd this book to anyone who like slow moving books and dull ones too.

Summary: this book depicts teen emotion well.....
Review: This book depicts teen emotion well when the world around her was changed without precaution. Izzy, who is 15 years old, pretty, popular, and smart enough, was involved a car accident when she went a date with a senior named Marco, who drank at the party. As Marco whom even Izzy didn¡¯t like got minor injury, Izzy got her right leg cut. Not only she was changed but also friends, people¡¯s expectation, and the things she did were changed as well. She needed to adapt the entire changes as a crippled. Author, Cynthia Voight, focused on moving of Izzy¡¯s feeling than any other physical fact. You can empathize with her despairing feeling throughout this book. When she missed daily things, even she didn¡¯t recognize how glad she was that she could do them before, you will appreciate that you are ordinary instead of thinking of how you are not good enough. Even though this book is not well written technically because Voight did not use literary vocabularies, I am sure that it will have positive effects on teen emotion. This book will provide educational balance which school education may not satisfy with students. Wouldn¡¯t be a good reason to recommend this book? Don¡¯t worry! When you feel bored, you will have already finished Izzy, only 262pages long. Go with Izzy on your vacation.

Summary: Wonderfully Written
Review: Cynthia Voigt has written another wonderful and eloquently written book. "Izzy, Willy-Nilly" provides a great insight on how a normal, everyday "nice girl's" life is changed by a car accident that causes her to lose her right leg. If you haven't already read this book, I highly recommend that you do.

Summary: DO NOT MISS THIS ONE!
Review: I am shocked that this book only got 4 stars! This is the most amazing, powerful book I have ever read! The emotions Izzy goes through are described so well, it's as though you're living the whole experience with her! I have never read a book so well-written, and believe me, I read a whole lot! This is a GREAT book! Anyone who doesn't agree with me has no clue at all what they are talking about! You have to read this book!

Summary: Excellent Book!
Review: I absolutely loved this book! It was well-written and the descriptions of the character's feelings were very realistic. I started out by reading the ''Homecoming series'' and when I found out about this book, I just had to read it. I'm glad I did! Even though what happened to Izzy was sad and she feels life will never be the same, she eventually begins to deal with being an amputee and finds a way to be ''normal'' again. I admire her strong and pleasant character!

Summary: My experiences
Review: I read this book, Izzy, Willy-Nilly, for a school assignment. I thought that this book was a very good gut check and it made me think about what i want my life to be. I had just suffered from a concussion when i read this book and i could relate to it a lot. I think that teenagers should read this to discover the effect of drinking anf driving and the choices they make. I would definately recommend this book to whoever wants to read it!

Summary: Realistic but slow paced
Review: I just finished reading this book and I found it to be a very realistic portrayal of the vast majority of teens attitudes today. The main character Izzy suffers a terrible injury at the hands of a drunk driver. After the injury Izzy's "true" friends can hardly stand to be around her. They move on with their lives and show more compassion for the drunk driver than they do for her. The book does a good job of illustrating just how tough life is after a traumatic injury. The book also does a good job of showing what real frienships are all about when it delves into the relationship between Izzy and Rosalmunde. My only complaint with the book is that it tends to drag in spots. The end of the book was rather well written. I would strongly suggest this book to high school aged kids because I think it does a good job of illustrating the dangers associated with drinking and driving.

Summary: Drinking and Driving
Review: Izzy,Willy,Nilly is a great book about the ups and downs of being a teenager. I think that every person who thinks its cool to drink should read this book.

Summary: A great book for all teens!
Review: Izzy Willy Nilly is a great book that brings a lot of attention to the subjects of choices and friendship. When Izzy, the all around popular, cheerleader, everyone loves, type of girl, gets asked out by a popular senior Marco, she accepts not knowing the consequences. Izzy and Marco go to a party and Marco drinks a little too much. On the way home they hit a tree. Marco gets minor injuries, but Izzy's leg is majorly punctured and must be cut off. Izzy who once was popular,is now the topic of everyone's conversation. She has to learn to deal with the plight of now being a teen age outcast.
