Summary: I'm Stunned...
Review: I just finished this book about two hours ago-I Just LOVE IT!!!!!
I totally do not understnad why people think that this book is not very good. I love it so much-it's wonderful. Tamora Pierce is an extrordinary writer she develops her characters so well!!! (At the end I was sad to let them go, especially Tkaa and Scrap.)
I really think that this book is better than the first-and I'm going to read the third book right away. But really I think this will be at least ONE of my favorites-this is the only series I've ever read by her-But I'm going to get all of her books, definatly.
I still am really baffled by how many people think that this book is not very good-it's so wonderful! (I know I keep repeating myself, but I can't help it-It's Wonderful!) I remember all of the times I was on the edge of my seat while I was reading it-and I know I was constantly turning pages, even more than the first book. These have the perfect elements-action, adventure-and I'm not totally sure, but I believe there will be a little romance even. Though I am falling in love with Numair myself! Wonderful, wonderful.

Summary: How can people not like this?
Review: So many Tammy P fans seem to dislike this, and I can't work out why. this and The Emperor Mage are my favourites of the series - and some of my favourites of her books. I don't really know what to say. how can someone who likes the other books hate this? It has all the good elements from them I can think of.

Her writing, to me, is at some of its best of the series here. The new characters were great. I love the way Tammy really thinks about consequences and influences to her characters, doesn't just say, "llok at this character, isn't he an extrovert? Isn't he fun?" like a certain author of Harry Potter books. Poor Brokefang is struggling to deal with Daine's legacy, and the pack have a slightly eerie edge occasionally of human-ness. T'kaa appears as well: bonus.

All in all, ignore advice to read this book! You might not like it after all (Mithros knows why), but how will you know if you don't try? I tried it and loved it.

Summary: BEST BOOK OF THE SERIES
Review: This book is about a girl named Daine 14, her teacher Numair 30, and Daine's many animal friends including a baby dragon, a squirrel, and a pack of wolves. Daine is not your ordinary girl she can talk to animals. In this book the 2nd in the series, Daine finds herself in a bad situation when some wolves from her painfull past find her to ask for help when humans start cutting trees and digging holes in Dunlath Valley were the wolves live. It turns out more is going on then just cutting trees and digging holes, and immortalls are involved and that can't be a good thing,or can it? this book is great for people who like mythology, animals, and adventure.

Summary: EEUW
Review: Ugh, this was the most awful Tamora Pierce book! I always ignore it when reading through the entire series because I find that I haven't missed a thing when I do so. The plot stinks because it goes so slowly you feel like Pierce was writing only to accomplish something by a deadline. The supporting characters aren't as likeable as you wish they were, and the wolves are just.... weird.

Don't bother reading this book when you go through the series--you honestly won't miss anything.

Summary: The first book called an Addy book!
Review: This a wonderful book where exciting things happen. Not at all the worst of Tamora Pierces books. Daine and Numair travel to Dunlath valley where Daine discovers more of her magical powers, and helps her friends, the wolves. When she pays a visit to Dunlath palace she meets Lady Maura of Dunlath. If you want to find out the rest, you have to read the book.

Summary: The Immortal Series, My views
Review: The Immortals series was a good follow up, though I read it last, rather than second. I liked the way Tamora included the ALanna theme, Tortall etc. I especially enjoyed Daine's growing crush on Jon! A very good book, like the Winding Circle series, it focuses largely on magic, though in this quartet more the Wild Magic that Daine posesses over the GIft of Numair..

Summary: Great story!
Review: If you like magic and adventure, you'll love this book and the rest of the series. Warning!! If you read this book, you will enjoy it so much, you'll have to buy the entire series, "Alanna series, The Immortals series and Protector of the small series--which are all part of a continuing story. Excellent author.

Summary: Great! Tamora Pierce does it once again!
Review: I am a 13 year old avid reader and absolutely love all of Tamora Pierce's books. I have read all of the Circle of Magic books and 2 of the Immortal books. I have to say Wolf-Speaker may not be as well done as some of her other books, but it still definately deserves a five star rating. You'll love this book if you are a fantasy type of reader, if you like wolves (or any animals!), or if you just like Tamora's books.
Wolves for Daine's past seek her help to stop men from cutting down trees, poisoning the waters, and doing other terrible stuff where they live. She agrees, and along with her teacher Numair, she helps the wolves as best she can. But, it turns out there is more at work here then just the cutting down of trees and the destroying of the environment.
In this book, she learns another, exciting ability, and encounters other immortals such as basilisks and hurrocks. If you enjoy Tamora Pierce's books, I guarantee you'll love this one!! I sure did.
