Summary: My favorite!
Review: Wolf-Speaker is definitely my favorite book in the Immortals quartet. I feel that this book is just as good as Prisoner of Azkaban or any other Harry Potter book. It captivates in it's own way. Numair, Daine, and the cast of other memorable characters are definitely the best! Great wolf book! It's like a personification except only one person can see them that way. We actually meet the first batch of truly evil people, Tristan Staghorn and his crew. Numair, the most powerful mage in all of Tortall, and Daine, the only wildmage, stop them! The magic in the Immortals quartet is a really imaginative branch of animal magic. Daine is a girl who's perfectly human, except for the fact that she has wild magic. A must read series and book for lovers of magic, wolves, magical creatures ~aka the Immortals~, and animals overall! Tamora Pierce is one of my favorite authors. Her books, including Song of the Lioness series and Protector of the Small, will captivate any reader. Beware of night-reading! You won't be able to put this book down!

Summary: Wolf-Speaker
Review: Veralidaine Sarrasri, commonly called Daine, receives a cry for help from the wolves of the Long Lake Pack. They tell Daine about the tree-cutting and awful amount of noise that is scaring away all of the prey in Dunlath Valley. When Daine and Numair finally arrive in Dunlath, they realize that there is much more going on then that. They find out that Lady Yolane and Tristan, Numair's old classmate, are planning something that will jeopardize Queen Thayet's throne.

In the second book of The Immortals series, Daine learns many new things that she can do with her magic. Accompanied by Kitten and her faithful horse, Cloud, Daine makes new friends, some of which are human, and some, which are immortals. Daine's personality is also evolving, and this book is more personal since we learn more about Daine's thoughts and feelings. Animal and Tamora Pierce lovers, this book is for you!

Summary: The story continues
Review: Trouble is stirring in the kingdom and Daine and her teacher Numair go to investigate, when they do they uncovers a scam, a plotting and evil, Daine has to find a way to help but finds it challenging when her teacher has to leave to get help, Daine can handle that but it becomes difficult when she gains a new power which she doesn't seem to understand till later but you'd think that's enough till the little sister of the lady whose doing all this runs away and accidentally finds Daine. And to make it worse, her wolf friends keep putting themselves in danger to stop the destruction there, how could it go from a cry for help to all of this? How will Daine ever do this all? Read it and find out and if your not satisfied with this book read the other two, "Emperor mage" and my personal favorite "In the Realms of the Gods" don't hesitate to get this book its another Tamora Pierce classic. You will defiantly enjoy it.

Summary: Great Book for Animal and Mythology Lovers
Review: The book, Wolf-Speaker, in the Immortals series, is a wonderful book. It is about a girl named Daine, 14, and a mage, her teacher, Numair, 30, who live in the time period with King Jonathan III, and Queen Thayet. The world is invaded with immortal creatures, such as dragons and Stormwings. Daine can mind-speak with animals using her Wild Magic. In the 2nd book in this series, Wolf-Speaker, Numair, their 2 horses, Spots and Mangle, her pony, Cloud, her dragon, Skysong or Kitten, and she go to heed the wolves of the Long Lake Pack's cry for help. People in Dunlath Valley are cutting down trees and turning the peaceful valley into a nightmare. She and Numair find out the awful plan Tristan (Numair's old mage school classmate) and Lady Yolane of Dunlath have for Dunlath Valley. Read this book and find out the excellent ending. Wolf lovers, like myself, will love this book.

Summary: Sort of okay
Review: Like I said, sort of okay. Frankly, I was bored. Some parts are pretty good, but it's not consistant. Plus, Daine's friend Maura REALLY got on my nerves after a while. And it's a disapointment about the monsters called Stormwings. In the first book, they are horrible, sickening monsters that seem straight from heck, and in this one, they seem friendly and kind.

Summary: Wolf girl
Review: Don't you wish you could talk to animals? Well if you were Daine you could. She can hear their thoughts and even share their bodies, but it's not always as great as it seems. When Daine is summoned by the wolf pack that took her in before she started working for the king, she starts to wish she had never been born. Strange changes have come over her old friends. Now they think like humans. They ask Daine to talk to the nasty "two-leggers" who are ripping up their valley. If the humans don't stop, they might just have to do something drastic and un-wolflike. Now it is up to Daine to stop her wolf family from going too far and to figure out how to stop the strange magical barrier that has formed in the valley locking everyone in.
I liked this book because it had lots of adventure. At first when she kept mind-speaking to the different animals it was a little confusing because you couldn't tell very well who said what. When she started jumping into their minds as well, it got really nutsy. But after a while I got into the pattern of the book and it's not so hard to understand.
I think middle school girls will like this book a lot. It has a strong girl character, who although she has a special gift, isn't perfect. Also this book has animals and girls tend to like animal stories. They also like fantasy stories, so all in all it has a little bit of everything.

Summary: A stunning book
Review: Wolf Speaker is a book that I liked a lot. It showed the plight of the wolves that lived at Long Lake excellently. Daine, with Kitten and Numair on her side, finds herself fighting the humans of Dunlath at the request of the animal gods and her own wolf pack. The humans are destroying the valley and enslaving innocent immortals. This book introduces the wolves who helped to revenge the deaths of Daine's family in greater death, and also introduces the basilisk, Tkaa.
Tamora Pierce created another brilliant novel in Wolf Speaker, and a great second book in the Immortals series. I loved this book and would recommend it to anyone who liked Wild Magic. This book is especially great for wolf and animal lovers.

Summary: Fantastic
Review: This is the 2nd book of the Immortal Series. In this book, Daine and Numair travel to Dunlath valley to help a pack of wolves stop the two-leggers from chasing away the game. But the nobles who control Dunlath Valley are doing much more than chasing away game. They plan to poison Dunlath with a flesh-eating potion. Daine and Numair are separated, so Daine alone must stop the evil Trisan Staghorn and Lady Yolane from taking over Dunlath Valley.

Summary: Wolf Speaker was Great!
Review: This was one of the best in the series. And this is one of my favorite series. It's the second in the Immortal Series about a girl who's an orphan and can talk to animals. It is written very well. In this book she's saving the group of wolves she lived with before she made friends with humans.

Summary: Quite Good
Review: This is a really good sequel for Daine. Daine's new story includes her old wolf pack the Long Lake Pack. Her sotries aren't as good as any of the Alanna books beacue Alnna has way more personality and guys. Also Alanna has more struggles and hardships to get through. But Tamora Pierce still has her touch with Totall. The boolk is very good.
