Summary: HELP! MY FAMILY IS ABOUT 200 YEARS OLD!!!!
Review: This book took place in Louisiana. It's about a girl named Nore. She was living in New York, but she moved to Louisiana to live with her father and her new family. She didn't like it from the beginning. She thought there was something strange about her new family. She was always trying to figure her new family out. She never knew what was going to be around the next corner. She didn't know why she was so uncomfortable, but she's about to find out! I encourage anybody who likes mystery and suspense to read this book. I read in about a day. It was so suspenseful that I couldn't put it down. I was always trying to figure everything out along with Nore! I hope this review helped you and you will try this book out yourself! Help Nore figure out her new family!!

Summary: Good but it ended tooo fast
Review: I really enjoyed reading the book which is about 17 year old Nore who has to live with her new step mother, who seems to have some sort of secret which her and her new brother and sister know about. The ending came a bit too quickly and i found that i had a few questions that were unanswered. I think the ending also could have been decribed a bit more with more detail. Either way though i enjoyed the book.

Summary: Locked in Time or Locked in Boredom
Review: Have you ever read a book that when you get to the end it just dissapoints you? Well this is one of those books. The plot line seems to be very traditional. I would consider this book to be a good example of a science fiction story. It only appears to diverge form reality by having certain charectars posses eternal youth.
This book is about a girl whose mother died and father remarried to a very beautiful woman with two children. She goes to live with them all for the summer, but soon finds out that there is more to these kind hearted people than meets the eye. In fact, they arent so kind hearted at all. They are very deceiptful. Nore soon realizes that she and her father are in grave danger.
The story keeps building and building, but the climax is very weak. Considering the events that occur before the climax, just takes away from the ending.
Join Nore as she solves the mystery of the step-family from hell.

Review: I thought this book was full of suspense, which was really great. On the otherhand, the end was pretty twisted, and that dissapointed me a little bit. I would have liked things to have turned out differently. The characters were intriguing as well as the plot of the story. I wanted nores dad to believe her about the Berge's internal youth so much and it was hard whenever he would shun her off. Some interesting history was tought about voodoo and Louisiana's swamps. Nore's stepmother is aware that she is a huge threat because of her sense of time. This also creates tension between Nore and her new stepfamily. It is as though she has an internal clock in her body. This has some romanticism intertwined because there are two guys who like nore, as well as one becoming a "hero" unexpectedly in the end. The science fiction was a great touch to make the story a little more fascinating.

Review: I would recommend the novel Locked in Time, by Lois Duncan. This novel holds the deepest secrets kept inside. I fell i love with this book, as the suspense of one family's secret life was discovered. This novel unlocks all of the feelings of a deforced father, and his daughter's suspicions toward his new wife. As Nore unravels the family's past, she finds that she and her father are in great danger. I would rate this novel a five star book. As you read this book and find that eternal life isn't a wish anyone should have, you will fall in love with the emotions trapped inside. Once you open it you will hate to put it down. You will be dying to know how it all ends!

Review: I really love this book. It's my favorite book in the world. My favorite charactor is Eleanor, and everyone in the book. My favorite part in the book is the begining of the book, and to the end of the book. I will read it again when I get it I will read it, but it is heard to find. Lois Ducon is my favorite author.

Summary: Best Book I Read All Year
Review: Wow, when I started reading this book I couldn't put it down. I recommend this book to everyone in the world. I read this book and my imagination went wild. The book was very interesting and full of suspense. In the book Lois Duncan wants you to put your full imagination torward it. Thats why I recommend this book. The main character is Nore. Her Mother dies and her dad re-marries. Nore thinks the woman is hiding something through the whole novel. In the end Nore finds out that she has been alive for more than a hundred years. Because of a potion. You see that Nore's father doesn't believe her at all in the whole story but in the end he finds out she wasn't lieing when she said Lisette was hiding everything from him.

Summary: Life or Death that is the question
Review: Locked in Time had life or death written all over it. It was full of suspense, I never knew what was going to happen. Locked in Time was the best book I read all year. I enjoyed reading it and most of all it was easy to read. When I read this book my imagination went wild. At the beginning Nore's mother dies and her father remarries. Nore believes that her stepmother is hiding something. When she finds out what her stepmother is hiding she is risking her life. This was a great book and I recommend it to other people to read.
