Summary: Just and exotic and lush read!
Review: This is a wonderful book. The author doesn't talk down to the readers like most young-adult novelist. Instead, she embraces the modern culture of today's youths and enhances it with a supernatural twist. Yes, there is plenty of sex and violence, but the book never promotes such actions--just treats them like everyday occurances instead. The characters are vivid and easy to sympathize with (I thought my heart had been ripped out when Aiden broke up with Vivian after revealing her true nature to him). The plot and subplots are extremely believable and the writing is vivid, lush, and very descriptive (my English teacher would love that). Overall a good book and a high recommendation.

Summary: Female werewolf coming of age
Review: "Blood and Chocolate" is about a female werewolf coming of age. For her whole life, her father has been the leader of the pack. After his sudden death, the pact moves to the city. This is where the story petty much starts. She is torn between two lives, not knowing if she should just sit back and wait for a new leader to be chosen to take the pack somewhere safe or go to school and be with the human boy that she has fallen in love with. To make things worse, she is the only female in her age group from the pack and everyone in her family is telling her to choose her mate.

The story is well-written for teens and young adults. It uses a lot of terms related to teenage slang, for example boy-toy, meaning boyfriend. The author is seeing things from the perspective of a sixteen year old girl who doesn't know if she is really happy with what is going on in her life. This is a problem a lot of teens have, and can relate to well. The fact that she is a werewolf gives the book that great twist.

Summary: "Blood And Chocolate" Review
Review: When I first picked up this book, I thought that it was a little bit weird. But after reading it I feel this overwelming sense of what Vivian was going through. Very insightful, probing. I could feel the anguish that she felt when her father died. The fights between herself and her mother.... And also, when Gabriel became pack leader, I had this feeling that he would be a good leader and a good husband/mate for Vivian. My only wish is that there would be a sequal, becuase then I would probably read it up.

Review: I love this book! This is definatly my favorite book, I started reading it and could NOT put it down! I told all my friends about it and they read it and also could not put it down. You really get to know Vivian, her hate, her love, and her hopes and dreams. If you love drama, suspence, little horror, and romance then this is definatly the pick for you. When I bought it I had no idea who Annette Curtis Klause was so I thought I'd give it a try. And I absoulutly loved it! I think all of you who are reading this should buy it.

Review: This book will grasp every feeling in your body. Its amazing how youget pulled into Vivian and feel everything she does. The reader gets to feel her love and hate and her curiosity as well as her fear. The indulgence of sex in this story can unfortunatly capture everyone. I definately suggest reading this book.
