Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Great Book Review: This is, by far, the best book out of the four! Emperor Mage was really THE book that made me read the whole series over. I really recommend everyone to read it. Of course, you have to read the other 2 first.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: GREAT! Review: I really, really loved (even though I liked Relams of the Gods more) this book it was soo good! I, like some other people thought it was really funny when Numair got mad at the prince! When Daine is told Numair was dead I was in a mind block it just seemed so impossible! I really liked this book and I recommend it to annyone who likes fantasy but read the other two books first!
Rating: ![4 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-4-0.gif) Summary: The worst of the 4 I'd say, but.... Review: I would have to say this book, the 3rd, is the weakest in this wonderful series. However that not saying much because ALL the Immortal books are great! This one is about when Daine, Numair, and a whole delegation from Tortall go to the southern country of Carthak. They are trying to make peace with them, as they suspect the Emperor of Carthak was the one to let all the Immortals in the mortal world. The end is REALLY weird, but if you don't like it, don't let it stop you from reading the next book, or any of Tamora Pierce's other books!
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: The best so far! Review: Tamora Pierce really has agreat series going on. The Emperor Mage is one of her best is what I would say. Apart from being funny, riveting, and GOOD, this is also quite suspenseful. When Daine is sent to the Carthak Empire as part of a peace delegation, she must help to revive Emperor Ozorne's ill birds with her Wild Magic. She becomes friends with Kaddar, the heir to the Carthaki throne, and aquires a new power ro add to her collection. Meanwhile, Numair and Daine fall in love, but when Ozorne decides to get back at Numair for an old feud, Daine must save her friend's life, and in that process she wreaks havoc in the Carthaki empire.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Excellent! Review: Ignoring the occasional cheesiness to it, this book and the first in the seris are undoubtably the best. The story is well thought out and spaced excellently through the book, with elements of humor, suspense, and some real fear. The characters are absolutely cunning and perfectly thougt out and I liked that they had to go to another country besides Tortall and the way that the new customs were described. All in all, a great book!
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: My Favorite Review: This book, and Realm of the Gods, was my favorite out of the Immortal series. I think it got a bit strange near the end when Daine went out of control, but other than that, it was awesome. I would recommend this book to any of my friends and even strangers.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Tamora Pierces's Books Review: I love Tammy's books. I read them starting a year ago. My friend told me to read the. I did, with much hesitation. But they were great! I suggest you start with Song of the Lioness, then The Immortials, Then the Protecter of the Small. That way you introduced to the land of Tortall bit by bit. I didn't like The Circle Of Magic series that much. It just didn't give me the feeling the Tortall books did. I have'nt read Alanna yet, but it sounds good. Tammy's book's are good for people of all ages. The Immortials might be good for an older audiance. I am only ten, and it did seem targeted for an older group. The vocabulary is not so hard, but I suggest waiting till you are about 12. Happy reading! You'll love these books!
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: couldn't put it down! Review: Ok, this book is the 3rd book in a series by my favorite author. I absolutely luv it! The story gets a little unrealistic with all the magic and gods and bringing animals back from the dead, but you can't let that stop you from reading it cuz it's just too good. I had a feeling Daine and Numair would be lovers, and can't blame Numair when he gets mad at Daine for hanging out most of the time with Prince Kaddar, heir to the Carthaki throne. I found Emperor Ozorne really hateful. The way Ms. Pierce makes all her characters makes the story go great. I really like how in each Tortallian series the author brings back the characters from the series before it, making the scenes more familiar and fun to read. You have just got to read all of Tamora's books, because they are the best! I recommend every single one of them to you.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Very cool Review: Ok, this was the second best book in the Immortals series (I like Realm of the Gods better), at least in my opinion. Daine finds herself in the infamous Carthak. The Tortallans are discussing peace delegations with the Carthakis. Anyway, I thought it would have been pretty cool if Daine and Kaddar, you know, hooked up or something but, of course, that is not to be. Anyway, the Graveyard Hag gives Daine a power that might make Carthak straighten up (or fall down). Personally, I think that the Hag is MEAN! Oh well. Of course, Tamora Pierce pulls of another GREAT book. I can't wait until the third Protector of the Small book comes out!
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: ***Magnigicent! *** Review: Tamora Pierce is one of my favorite authors, but this book is my favorite out of all of her stories. I loved being able to learn more about a brand new country (Carthak) and thought the plot was filled with more action and magic than the first to books in the seires. You also learn more about Daine, Numair, and the Carthaki (I really love that word! ) way of life. While it is easy to pick up on the plot, the story is a bit better if you know what happened in Wild Magic and Wolf Speaker (the first books.)
