Summary: ++++Very Well Writen+++++
Review: In this book, Daine, a 15 year old girl goes to Carthak to heal the Emperor's birds and to sign a peace treaty. In this book Daine meets and befriends the prince Kaddar. Soon after she arrives in Carthak Daine relizes the emperor's hatred agianst her teacher and friend, Numair. In this book Daine also finds out who her father is. The only thing I didnt like about this story was that Varice, Numairs old girlfriend, pays Numair a night time visit. Although they didnt go into the topic much I still thought it offensive. I recemend this book to ages 12-15.

Summary: Great story!
Review: If you like magic and adventure, you'll love this book and the rest of the series. Warning!! If you read this book, you will enjoy it so much, you'll have to buy the entire series, "Alanna series, The Immortals series and Protector of the small series--which are all part of a continuing story. Excellent author.

Summary: Just as good as I remembered
Review: I picked up Emperor Mage this summer after a year-long hiatus from Tamora Pierce's books. However, I was immeadiatly transported to Carthak, where Daine is part of a peace delegation from Tortall. There mainly because the Emperor's prized birds are sick, Daine soon discovers that the gold and glitter of the Imperial Palace is not all it seems. Some evil is lurking, and omens from the gods seem to seal the fact that Carthak is in trouble. Daine, with old familiar faces such as those of Alanna and Numair as well as new friends in Lindhall and Prince Kaddar, set to fight this evil force. With help from the Gods, and Daine's terryfying new wild magic, the battle begins. Another spectacular Pierce book, Emperor Mage follows in the footsteps of the Lioness quartet and the first two books in the Immortals series. Reccomended to all fantasy lovers!

Summary: Gotta read it!
Review: Daine really comes into her own in this, the third installment in The Immortals Quartet. "Emperor Mage" highlights Daine's newfound confidence in her wild magic. Lots of action and superb imagery!

Summary: Emperor Mage was awesome!
Review: I loved Emperor Mage. I particularly liked how she became "friends" with Rikash Moonsword, the halfway decent Stormwing from the last book. It's good to see Daine grow up--although she was likeable in Wild Magic, she was a couple of years younger than me and acted it. I really liked seeing her grow up and develop into a young woman. Even the little things, like her Galla accent, are changing, and I like that. Although I loved all of The Immortals, Emperor Mage was a step above Wolf-Speaker and Wild Magic.

Summary: Hale to the Emperor Mage
Review: Ilove the story. Man the Eperor was a real sleaze come to think about it so was the Grave Yard Hag. I think the only nice one on the iland was the emeror's nefue the prince. I'm glad Dane stoped him. I think she should have tought the Grave Yard Hag a lesson for all the time she chocked Dane. It was a very exsiting story if you like fantacy this the book for you. I cant waight to read the next book.

Summary: Great Book...And What's Between Numair and Daine?
Review: Wow...this was an amazing book. It was my favorite out of all the immortal books. I love the way the setting is set up and described; it really jumps at the reader. This novel is about a girl named Daine who posesses wild magic. She and others from Tortall are visiting an emperor for peace talks. When the emperor turns out to be evil as was first thought, it takes courage and determination for Daine to put him down with the help of a special gift from the badger. Hey....those of you who have read it....is there something between Numair and Daine here? I first saw it in the first book and it gets stronger as the stories go along. Now I'm nearly sure that Numair loves her and I really REALLY have to read the fourth book. If there really isn't anything between them I'll cry...and that would just be wrong. Anyway, this series really really REALLY draws you in so BEWARE!!!!!! I loved this book and I hope that you will, too.

Summary: My Favorite Book
Review: I have read all the books in the Immortals series, but I like this one best. Kitten is my favorite character, and I love how much she appears. I think this book showed me (if not everyone else) that Daine is a human person and can be capable of human feelings. I stayed up till 1:00 am reading, and I was shaking. I thought Daine was awesome destroying the palace. I could see her, standing atop the mammoth, wrecking the palace. It was an awesome book, hinting at real romance for the first time. Oh, if no one has figured this out, Daine is Weriyn's (sp.?) daughter. Weiryn is a GOD!!!!! The guy with the antlers is him. Does it tell in The Realms of the Gods? Where she was told that Weriyn is a god of the hunt (or something like that,) and is called Weriyn's daughter by the The Graveyard Hag is enough. I thought Kitten was totally wonderful in this book! Zek is awesome too. Keys, remember? I want to read Realms of the Gods and The Song of the Lioness soon. I think Daine was potrayed best in this book, her anger falling on the palace. Ozorne made me sick. Zek and Kitten made the animals come alive, and I have to say Daine was best when she was mad. Verice was OK, but a LITTLE too flirty. With Daine and Kaddar, Numair and Verice, there is plenty of room for jelousy! But it's defineatly Numair and Daine. I would tell EVERYONE in the world who CAN READ to read this book. I absolutly loved it!
