Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: I'll be sure to read this one again(and again and again)!!!! Review: I THOUGHT THIS BOOK WAS THE BEST!!! I was totally spellbound when Daine thoght he was dead! I LOVED how the book ended! And I NEVER thoght Daine could befriend a stormwing!
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: One of the Best Yet!!!!! Review: Emperor Mage was my favorite of the Immortals so far. I liked how Alanna came into this book also. The other two were great, but there was something about this book that just had me hooked. Emperor Ozorne, is a real jerk I think. He is so mean and cruel. I can't beleive what he did to Daine after she healed his birds. Well he got what he deserved. Kaddar was one of my favorite new characters. He seemed pretty cool. As always, thought I think Daine is awsome. She was so brave in this book, and didn't seem to be as scared or babyish in this one. I can't wait until the next one comes out!
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Great book, definately the best of the Immortal series Review: It was a great book, Daine got into all sorts of trouble, and Kitten was better than ever. Zek was a great addition to the story. The most susspenseful part was Kaddar telling Daine that Numair was dead, I was on the edge of my seat saying, "No way, he can't be dead!" Emperor Mage was wonderful!
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Anxiously awaiting the third book in paperback. Review: I enjoyed this book because it seemed, touching. You not only learned more about the God's, but about Carthak. Daine is a touching character, something about her is endearing to all of us, and reminds us of ourselves in some way or another. Daine is sent with her teacher, Numair, and other delegates from Tortall. They are there to try and negotiate peace with Ozorone, Emeperor Mage, and ruler of Carthak. Daine is there for the sole purpose of healing his birds. But alas, she's dragged far deeper into the turmoil of the land then she inteneded. Her friend, the first badger god, gives her a mysterious power, then vanishes before telling her. Daine figures out of course what the power is, to her dismay. Daine must now find a way to escape the turmoils of the country, and save her friends at the same time. This story grips the imagination, and forces you to try conclusions every time you put the book down, which means you have to soon pick it right back up again. The book opens a new door every time you read it, no matter how many times you read it already. I'm an avid reader, but no author has ever been able to capture my interest as fully as Ms. Pierce has. Good luck in her future novel conquests in literature. I'll be there to read all the books she puts out, and praise will be the only thing to leave these lips.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: My favorite book from my favorite author Review: This is one of the best books I have ever read. Tamora Pierce is my favorite author and that is quite a compliment considering I own over 200 books. Daine and her human friends as well as Kitten are traveling to Carthak for a peace delegation but even though the emperor seems nice enough something fishy is going on. I have got to get my hands on the next book in this series!
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: It was one of the most awesome books I ever read!!!!!!!!!!!! Review: Ms.Pierce, if you see this please write another series telling about Diane and Numair! Or someone elise if you can't think of anything elise to write about with Diane.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Somrthing is rotten in the state of Carthak... Review: Here she is again folks, but this time she's all the way across the Inland Sea. Coming with a royal envoy (which includes familiars such as the Gareths, Alanna, and Numair)she plans to try and heal the emperor's ailing birdswith her magic. She hopes that doing so will help the failing peace-talks. Little does she know what will happen to her there. Some examples are making a friend who is NOT on this century's "Top 9999 Good-Smelling Vertebrates List", and recieving several godly visits. In this book,Daine, with some help, will wreak havoc on the world of book reviews.
Rating: ![4 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-4-0.gif) Summary: Fun, but not as good as the Lioness series Review: Although I liked the whole Wild Magic series, I definitely prefer the Song of the Lioness series. Alanna is a more engaging heroine than Daine, who seems to complain a lot. But it's still a fun series to read.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Dragons and Stormwings, and magic oh my! Review: Daine's story continues with a real twist. Daine, Numair, Kitten, Alanna, Duke Gareth senior, and his son Gareth (or Gary as we know him from teh Allana adventures)set off to the shores of their enemies in Carthak in hopes of peace. Daine is being sent to try to cure the emperor's prize birds. While there Daine discoveres new and scarey powers, and puts them to use when she and her friends are endangered. This book was fast paced and amusing. It was a great continuation of Daine's story, adn I couldn't wait to read the sequel
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Daine is visiting Carthak.... Review: with Numair, Alanna, Kitten, and others from Tortall. She is there to help save Emperor Ozorne's dying birds while the others are there to sign a peace treaty with the Emperor Mage. The book holds a bit of romance, LOTS of adventure, and a tad of sadness. A perfect recipe by Ms. Pierce
