Rating: Summary: What a BUMMER Review: I was a huge, and I mean huge fan of Tamora Pierce. I was gushing praize and then I read this book. It is basically a desparite attempt to start a new series on the same topic she always does: strong female gets training in fighting and magic and becomes a wonderfull leader, now don't get me wrong, i live for that type of book, but you see, after the Lioness Quartet, and the Wild Magic series, she sort of exausted the topic, so It was like reading the same things with different names, and sloppily done too. I did not give it one star because I think it would be a bit to harsh, because it did have a few good spots, and i can see how some people would like it. But if you have read a lot of Tamora Pierce's writings, warning: do not buy this book. But if you haven't go ahead, it might even be the type for you.
Rating: Summary: I've never read a better book Review: Tamora Pierce writes with her wonderful style in this book. Only she makes it better. The exciting plot drew me into it and I couldn't set it down! Tris is definatly my favorite character out of them all and Tamora Pierce is one of the greatest authors I have ever read. My advice? READ IT, YOU'LL LOVE IT!
Rating: Summary: MAGIC TRAINING Review: literally. This continues on from Sandry's book, and it is excellent. Four young beginners in magic and coming from a time of depression, Niko finds them, and when realising their magic abilities, brings them to Winding Circle.Love, Care, Compassion, Magic, Adventure, and thrills are all in this book. check out the others too. SANDRY'S BOOK, TRIS'S BOOK, DAJA'S BOOK, AND BRIAR'S BOOK. they're all excellent, as are all of Ms Pierce's books. check them all out.
Rating: Summary: Tris' Book is awesome! Review: I loved Book number 2. I've only read Daja, Tris and Briar, but Tris was by far the best one. She is my favorite character and it gave me a closer look at her character. I hope to read Sandry and the Circle Opens #1.
Rating: Summary: No words in mind. Review: This book I think is one of Tamora's best works. I read Song of the Lioness and The Immortals only to stumble upon a new world filled with magic. it is really a great work of art.
Rating: Summary: Great read! Review: This book was just as compelling as the first book. I loved it! Tris exbites her strong points. I don't know what else to say except that I loved it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Rating: Summary: a book you can read overand over(no,not just me,thebookworm) Review: This book is a compeling and wonderful book, with thorough descriptions. In this book, pirates attack Winding Circle and just might succeed, with their new weapons and all. Tris and her 3 friends must work together to save their new home. I absolutly adored this book. Its constantly in my backpack so I can read it all the time. A must read! 3 more words: BUY-THIS-BOOK!
Rating: Summary: Tris's Book Review: I have read the first three books in the Circle of Magic books and this one is my favorite book. In Sandry's Book, there was a earthquake. In Daja's Book, there was a huge fire in the forest. I haven't read Briar's Book yet, so I don't know what happens in that book. Tris's Book, I think was better because there was pirates in it (I like reading books with pirates in them). In this book they started to magic talk to each other (or talk in their minds to each other). I like when Tris can hear people talking in the wind. They could hear their teacher's talking about what is happening. I also like when Niko takes Tris's glasses and made them so Tris can see magic like him and other mages.
Rating: Summary: Compelling! Review: This is an exelent book I would recomend it to everyone! It's one of the most beautifully written book's I've ever read! I stayed up all night once reading because I could not put it down.
Rating: Summary: Same Old Same Old Review: I really do LOVE Tamora Pierce books but lately I'm getting bored. Most of the books that I have read have the same kind of texture maybe that's normal I guess I wouldn't really know. Well for one thing I liked Tris. She is a stuborn girl but with a strong will and a good heart. I thought the book could have used more excitment/adventure. Sometimes I got a bit bored because it was laging in suspense. Although overall it was an okay book.
