Summary: Just Ella-
Review: I liked this book because of all the neat emotions you got to read about of all the characters. It is also great because of all the different challenges Ella had presented to her. I hope you read this book!

Summary: You'll Love This.
Review: I read Just Ella from Margaret Peterson Haddix. It was about a girl named Ella. She was a servent for her mean step-mother. The family is invited to the princess ball but Ella has to stay home and clean the celler. Secretly she goes to the ball and is picked by the prince. After a week she hates the castle life. Read the book to find out what she does and how she got to the ball.
I didn't think the book was to bad. I realy don't care for the cinderella story but I love all the books from Haddix. They're easy to read and very interesting. She made the Cinderella story very interesting with her own twists.
If you like this book you should try reading the other books from Margaret Peterson Haddix. Try reading Take Off's and Landings, Amoung the Hidden, Amoung the Imposters, and Turnabout.

Summary: A MUST READ!
Review: I LOVED this book! I was searching for a good book to read, when I decided to read this book. In the entire book, I don't think there was one dull spot. Ella is the perfect character, strong and bold, she can do anything. What made the book really good though, was how the author mixed laughter, tears, and love all into it. If your one of those people (like me,) who like a a book that gets right down to the plot, read Just Ella.

Summary: Greatest Teen Book
Review: I read this book only because it was a spin on a fairy tale. i've been obsessed with fairy tale retellings since i was a child, writing some of my own every now and then. from the minute i met Prince Charming, i knew something was fishy. this Cinderella story keeps you guessing and you never know what will happen next! i recommend it to anyone who will read it!

Summary: To People who LOVED "Ella Enchanted"
Review: PLEASE DON'T READ THIS EXPECTING IT TO BE A SEQUAL TO "ELLA ENCHANTED"!!! If you read and loved the book "Ella Enchanted" and expect this to be a continuation, please don't read it w/that expection. My friends and I were hoping that it was a continuation to "Ella Enchanted" and so excited, but we had too high expectations and this book ruined everything "Ella Enchanted" stood for. If you haven't read "Ella Enchanted" yet (shame on you!), then yeah, you probably will like and love "Just Ella" b/c you don't know any better. I DON'T want to discourage anyone from reading this book b/c its not that bad. If you try to forget "Ella Enchanted" while you read and succeed, you'll think its wonderful.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE just don't expect it to continue "Ella Enchanted" b/c it will just ruin everything. Pretend its a separate story w/no relationship and you'll be fine. :)

Summary: Just Ella
Review: I LOVED the book.I think it inspires young girls. It shows that anyone can choose their own destiny and their own path though life. It shows that girls can be just as brave as guys and that they can have adventures of their own. I recommend this book for any girl that likes books about a heroine.

Summary: Great Read
Review: I was given this book for Christmas and I didn't think it would be very interesting, but once I started it I didn't want to put it down. The author took a teenager from a totally different time and place and made her so that girls today can completely relate to how Ella feels about everything. Also, it puts a whole new perspective on the original Cinderella story, a new perspective that is much more plausible than the old. I really recommend this book; it has romance, adventure, and an engaging plot.

Summary: Just Ella
Review: The book I read is called Just Ella By Margaret Peterson Haddix. This book is just like the book "Cinderella" just not with the fairy god mother. Ella is 19 and is a princess that lives in a castle. Ella is adressed to marry Prince Charming, but she meets this man named Jed who is one of her teacher's in the castle. Jed and Ella get to know each other and Ella starts to feel a connection with Jed. Now she is wondering if Prince Charming is the one she wants to marry. I think this book is a great book to read. I think people would love to read this book.

Review: I hated this book. The writing was bad and the plot was boring. I loved Ella Enchanted so I wonder what went wrong in this. I am disappointed in Margaret Peterson Haddix, her books are usually better than this (even if there not very good)!

Summary: "cinderella"
Review: The girl that sits next to me in most my classes and that is a young writer showed me this book last week exclaiming this was one of the greatest reads she'd ever read. I argeed to read it too and let her know what I thought.
I didn't think very much.
I found the starting and first part of the book so dry, I really started to wonder if it had a plot at all...
About the last hundred pages though changed my mind, her character started to show but it did seem as if the whole concept of the book had changed, as if the writer had suddenly changed moods and put it in her writing.
And at the ending it seemed she was to rushed in finishing it, 20 pages prior to the end of the book I started wondering how is the writer able to finish this story that had suddenly expanding in so little pages? I soon figured out how she did it...but putting in many gaps.
But i thought that when "cinders-ella" escaped the authors writing had suddenly changed and turned very exicting, detail and entertaining. I noticed after I was finished that this author had written a lot of "escape" sort of books and this is probably why I liked that part of that book, and I need to credit her on this, she is great at writing escapes.
All in all if you need a fairy tale based story, try my favourite and many others...Ella Enchanted.
