Georgia is a fourteen year old girl growing up in London. She is caught up in boys and herself. Her red herring plan to get Robbie (aka Sex God) back worked it's magic. The only thing is that the red herring who she dumped, Dave the Laugh, isn't that bad of a guy. After a trip away from her mates to Scottland, she discovers she really can't be that far from Robbie. Also Robbie is away getting a record deal and Georgia is thrown into a confession with Dave. What will happen? Will she choose the love of her life, or take Dave before he and Ellen get together? Rating: Summary: Wanna laugh? Read this! Review: Oh, to be a teenager again! Georgia Nicolson makes it sound like so much fun!! If you have been reading and loving the series, Knocked Out By My Nunga-Nungas will not disappoint you. I caught myself giggling like a school girl a hundred times over, and I look forward to continuing with the next book in the series. Knocked Out By My Nunga-Nungas continues the story of 14-year-old Georgia Nicolson and her adventures as the new girlfriend of Sex God, Robbie. But probably the most funny is the tale of Angus, the Scottish Wildcat. Angus, who has a crush on the Burmese sex kitten across the road, only causes the Nicolson family havoc when desperately trying to reconnect with his true love. And of course, Georgia's parents wreak their own kind of havoc, especially when dragging Georgie to Och Aye Land (Scotland) on a hideous family vacation, when all she'd rather do is sit home and snog with Robbie. I love reading about the trials of Georgia. She and her friends are absolutely hilarious and I guarantee laughs on every page. The ending on this book, however, seemed a bit abrupt, but I guess it only serves to get people to buy the next book in the series right away! I know I will be.
Rating: Summary: What do I think? Review: The confessions of Gorgia Nicolson books are great. They are about a girl who has extreme teenage problems, from her fat and flirting cat, to boys and school. I really enjoyed reading the first two books, but this one didnt appeal to me as much. It still had the same mischevious characters, yet Gorgias story just wasnt as full of problems, or as funny as Rennison's other books. I continued reading it, but it felt like things were repeating themselves, and the book kind of draged on. On the other hand, some parts of the book were more fun to read, and I was laughing out loud. I love this authors stlye, and I will keep reading her books, even though this one may not have been as good.
Rating: Summary: Very funny, But not as good Review: There's no doubt that all of the Georgia books are hysterical, but this book isn't nearly as good as the two before it. With this book Georgia seems to get so self centered to the point that it isn't funny anymore it's just annoying. But aside from that the book was very funny. There wasn't as much Libby as I hoped there would be, she is my favorite character. But maybe there will be more of her in the fourth book. This book focuses more on Georgia deciding who she wants to snog more, Robby the 'Sex God' or Dave the Laugh. This book is very funny but I suggest reading Angus, Thongs and FFS and On the Bright Side I am the Girlfriend of a Sex God before reading this.
Rating: Summary: Boisterously Entertaining. Review: This book (along with the other books in this series) is amazing. Louise Rennison never ceases to amaze me with her wit. Once you pick this book up you will have an extremely hard time putting it down.
Rating: Summary: Hilarious Review: This book really captures how it is to be a teenager! I sit on the couch and literally laugh out loud when i read this!
Rating: Summary: DID YOU KNOW? Nunga Nungas means....well....BOOBIES! Review: This book was absolutely hysterical that my sides ached from laughing. Fourteen-year-old Georgia still lives in England, and still obsesses and worries over her hairy orangutan eyebrows and uncontrollable bosoms. Georgia has succeeded in reuniting herself with her ex-boyfriend, the sex god. Obviously, she is now overjoyed and thrilled to death. Her little three-year-old sister, Libby, still continues her normal, day-to-day routine of peeing in hidden corners of Georgia's room, hiding her dirty nappies at the bottom of Georgia's bed, and playing dress-up with their beastly cat Angus. How Libby plays dress up and puts "lippy" on Angus and not get torn to shreds, Georgia has no idea. If Georgia were even to attempt such a life-threatening act, she would be lucky to get away with her life and even luckier to still be in one piece. Georgia's unique cat, Angus is like no other cat - he teases and torments the next door neighbor's two miniature poodles for fun, and spends countless hours lounging in his dark "lair" at the back of Georgia's closet, plotting his next move. In the beginning of this book, Georgia thinks she might be on her way to having an almost normal life with almost normal parents, until her father announces that the family would be going on a vacation together to Scotland! Yeah, her parents are suddenly all lovey-dovey with each other, but that is no reason or excuse to put the rest of the family - ok, Georgia - through the excruciating pain and torment of being trapped with them in a secluded area with nothing to do but be depressed! Meanwhile, Georgia is faced with bigger problems than dealing with torturous family vacations. She is confronted with her feelings for her former boyfriend, Dave the Laugh. Georgia is struggling with her strong feelings for the sex god and with her returning, flaming feelings for Dave. She thinks she wants to be with the sex god because, well, he is a SEX GOD and he has great snogging skills, plus she will be able to travel around the world with him and his band when he gets a contract. On the other hand, Dave the Laugh is just as fit and good-looking and has great snogging skills. She can be funny around him and not worry about whether she sounds stupid or not because Dave doesn't make her go "jelliod" and unable to speak and form comprehendible sentences, like the sex god does. As for Angus, he has a new affair in his life, and it's with the new neighbors across the street's prize Burmese cat, Naomi. According to Georgia, she is the "sex kitten" Angus has always longed for. But Georgia's father wants Angus's "trouser snake addendums" (testicles) removed so not to get Naomi pregnant. But as serious as the adults may think the situation is between these two cats, Georgia finds it quite hilarious. And to express her feelings of anger towards her father about him wanting Angus neutered, she starts calling her father a cat molester! Great choice of words, huh?! There is nothing to complain about in this book because I loved it all around. I never lost interest and therefore, I had a hard time putting the book down. I had a great time reading this book as well as the previous two books and I'm am sure that everyone else who reads it will too.
