Summary: A Beautiful, realistic, in your face tale of drug abuse
Review: This book was the most beautiful book I have ever read. When you are reading it, it seems as if the characters were created for a movie or soap, but knowing that it was real, makes the impact 10 times better. You can read it 100 times and still find new things. I definitly recommend it for teen-agers who are wrestling with drugs.

Summary: A look at a girl's fall into drugs.
Review: Go Ask Alice illustrates how easy it is for kids to be pulled into the downward spiral of drugs. Peer pressure played a role in "Alice's" substance abuse. This book is a good read for people of all ages, especially pre-teens and teens. It is a book that can be read over and over again.

Summary: Kathleen's radical Review
Review: I read the fabulous book, Go Ask Alice. It is about a girl who started off as a good kid in a nice little town until she went off to a party and tried drugs. She ends up running away from home and becoming addicted. Alice turns from a great kid in a nice town to a drug addict in the slums. You follow Alice through her diary and through her life, parties, the mental institution, and even on the streets. You can't help but feel bad and mad at her at the same time. You just don't know.
Go Ask Alice is a fabulous story the really hits home for most teenagers who are pressured to do drugs. The fact that it's a true story really shows other readers and me how real it is and the consequences of doing drugs. Go Ask Alice is a wonderful story and i recomend it to any teenager who is looking for a storyto grab you in and never let you out until the final twist and the magnificant ending.
This book should be read by teenagers because it shows you hat could happen to you. This is a true story and should be taken seriously. Please read this! It is so good and you will really be missing out on something great!

Summary: How can you not love it?
Review: I can't imagine how anyone could read this book and not love it. I think it could only be a man who wouldn't like this book. I still have my mom's copy of this book from when she was a teenager. It has been passed from one girl to another through two generations and when my daughter is old enough, she'll read it too. The book is wonderful insight on how a young woman of the time could feel inside. How drugs could take over a girl from the right side of the tracks and how the parents never even really noticed. This book used to be required reading in most high schools and I think it still should be.
