Summary: A great book for all ages to read and learn from.
Review: I've just finished the book today. I could not put it down. I've read for five hours straight. Even though I'm only twelve I know what a good book is, and this is one of them. I've already read "It Happened to Nancy." Both of the books made a great impact on my life. Maybe one day I'll be in a situation like theirs and I'll think of them and make the right choice. I already have done "It Happened to Nancy" for a book report at school and everyone was shocked by what can happen to any one of us at any time. Rich or poor. Good or bad family. Twelve or Sixteen years of age.I hope to be reading many more best sellers of Beatrice Sparks, Ph.D. And I hope people will learn from these books and tell their children about Nancy and Alice and let them read the books like my mom did with me and I'm so glad she did.

Summary: For Us, the Teenagers
Review: I read this book, originally in the summer after 7th grade. My friends had been presurring me into drugs and sort and after I read this I smartened up. It really changed my life and I was able to tell my friends to take a hike. I made new friends who had the same morals as me. I've read parts of this book over and over, I read it when depressed or when I need something good to read. If your friends are having problems, give them this book. If they read it, it'll help them. As I read it I kept saying, no! Stop it, you're hurting yourself, your family. Then the end was just shocking. I thought she had gotten what she wanted. My theory is that something she ate was laced with drugs, but I guess we'll never know. Anna, 14.

Summary: Most intensified book of the century
Review: i read this book a few years back. and after i finished it i reread it and reread it. i wanted to know every aspect of this girlz life. when i waz finished i felt like i knew her personally. and even to this day i want to meet her. (if she waz alive) i've never read a book that had this much of an impact on me. if u like this one i suggest that u read Prozac Nation. it's as detailed as this one and believe me when i saw this you'll never want to put it down. i think many teenagers, like myself, deal with drugs on an everyday basis. And it's important to get the message out, that everyone deals with struggles. I think the reason why we engage in drugs is becauze it takes the problems away, for a brief moment. But later it makes them worse. And thats what parents need to tell their kids. Cauze if they get too deep, then they'll be drowning in a pool of sorrows. AWESOME BOOK!!!!!

Summary: emotional and gut wrenching true story
Review: Go Ask Alice, is a touching and revealing true story of a teenage girl's battle with drug addiction. This is a diary of a 15 year old girl struggling to fit it with her peers, and succumbing to the pressure. The diary spans the last two years of Alice's life and allows you to take the journey of life with her, right up to the heartbreaking and tragic end.

Summary: Excellent book!!
Review: When I was 13, I read this book after my grandfather's death. I didn't usually read and I didn't think that it would interest me at all, but bordom took the best of me. I picked it up, I read to the part where she gets embarrassed about being stood-up, I then tell me father, "This book is already lousy." Then it gets to the part where she moves, then my attitude changes, and I physically couldn't put it down. I couldn't wait to see what was around the next page.

A few years later (2 and a half), I was going to read it again, so I brought it to school and I told a friend about it. She begged me to let her read it, so I did. It turned out she loved it and read it all in one day!! I was shocked, and said "I remember it being good, but not that good! Wow! I must have forgotton most of it!"

If someone asks me again, I would recommend it any day. I am 15 now, and I can totally relate to Alice in the story. I had moved, but instead of getting into drugs like Alice did, I moved back. I couldn't take it, but I believe that he experience has made me a stronger person. Please E-mail me about my comment, I'd love to hear it!

Summary: Go Ask Alice Review
Review: I've read this book 3 times and I'm reading it now for the 4th. This book gives people the hard and real look at what it's like to be on drugs. The sad thing is many people don't realize that this is what it's like. I recommed it to a lot of people to read. If you need to open to your eyes. Read this.
