Summary: Go Ask Alice was the absolute best book I have ever read.
Review: I'm a 16 year old girl who has experimented with drugs and partying. One of my friends introduced me to this book and once I started it, I couldn't put it down. It changed my mind about drugs. I felt like I might end up like her if I don't do something right away. This book truely helped me and it could help a lot of young people who are also experimenting with drugs. This book has been passed around my school because every one who reads it loves it so much that they have to introduce it to others. It's an excellent book!

Summary: Realistic and Compeling
Review: As a senoir student, I found that Go Ask Alice is a realistic view of the tragedy that is currently destroying many youths lives. It was excellent and I enjoyed it very much. I've recommended it for study as part of the educational curriculum at my school. It would be benificial for teenage readers ; and it would bring awareness about the seriousness of drug abuse.

Review: This is not intended to be a professional review, but merely my observation. This book does point out the harm that drugs can have, ie: bad trips and what not. And it is true that marijuanna can leave you feeling apathetic and listless. I, however, think that it is important to note that it was not drugs that killed her. There have been studies, and marijuanna is not a killer. LSD is a little more difficult to combat, but surely a few good trips won't kill either. A last note on the drug issue, if you don't want to do drugs, no one is going to force you; they do not want to waste them. I think what one should take away from this novel is the struggle and pains of being an adolescent. Alice didn't die of a drug overdose. If you read the Epilogue closely you find that her death was never known. How then can we assume that it was a drug overdose? I don't feel that it was. The over all point that I want to make here is that "Go Ask Alice" was a great book about adolescents, but how much of it was true?

Review: I saw this book in a library and checked it out. I started that night at 8 and fell asleep reading it around 3.The next morning I read the rest in about 10 minutes.I felt as if I was in her world. It is the most awesome book and I recommend it to everyone on THE PLANET !!!!! is wonderful!!!
