Summary: good...but...
Review: Back when this book was first published, there was alot of debates on the content, and whether or not that youth society should read it or not. Parents automatically assumed that because of sexual references and language that this isn't a books for their children, whether or not they took the time to read it. What Alice went through I think is a lesson to all of us, and I think that now days this book helps us all cope with the natural problems about teen sex, drugs, violence. We should all thank Alice, whoever she was for this book. ~Olivia~

Summary: still a must read
Review: i read this book when i was 14 and that was some time ago. i can honestly say that it was one of the reasons that i never got into drugs. when my daughter is old enough i intend to give her my copy to read and i hope that it will help her to make the same decision that i did.

Summary: Moving, it really makes you think
Review: Go Ask Alice is a book that would really make anyone think twice before they use or try drugs. The book is good in that it gives you so much detail into the life of a drug addict. But one thing I did not like about it was at the end how it left you with so many questions. But over all it is a book that I'd reccommend all adolecents to read.

Summary: The compedium of adolescense..
Review: Based upon a teenage experience in the nineteen sixties, "Go ask Alice" provides an insiders look into a troubled teen's life. The subject of "Go ask Alice" experiences a virtual emotional roller coaster. Its amazing to see here extremely joyful and gracious to be alive, but a few pages later you have seen here become a veteran of a drug letdown and knows to well of the savages of her experiences.

What I like about this book is that the setting, events, and characters change often, ever leaving you wondering where her drug-train will bring her next.

I also feel that the book covers numerous issues that plague the typical teenager, as well it should, it is allegedly an actual diary from a real teen, edited for identification purposes and other small errors.

Its especially hard to give a "review" or a rating of this book, because of course it is a diary and I feel that it cannot be "good" or "bad", that is the reason why I am giving it a four star rating, merely for the fact that it did serve its purpose and their is no "perfect" book.

Summary: its really hard to beleive a girl could go through so much
Review: This book was really good. It was so real at times, but then there were parts where it made you wonder, how could so many horrible things happen to one person. It was almost like a story, one day she'd be happy the next, she was the lowest of lows. It was an amazing insite to the world of sex and drugs, and it makes you think twice. I didn't like it because it said a real diary, but it didn't seem real, it didn't seem like someone had actually been through this, but then you think how could someone who hasn't gone through it give such acurate descriptions??

Summary: An Interesting Book
Review: This was an interesting story, however, i didn't particularly care for it. I enjoyed learning about her lifestyle. This book had a way of making you feel strongly about everything in the book, and the was no way to read it without becoming involved. The main character in the book, is one who seems to make bad decisions and not think for herself. Through readjg this I wanted to step in and help her. I would like to know whether or not this book is fiction, but because this lifestyle is so foreign to me it seems like ficton to me. This is a good book for high school students to read because it deals with things high schol students experience like: drugs, sex, school, friends, moving, etc...Even if you dont necessarily like this book, you will atleast learn things from it. I know that I did. Some parts of the book are so disturbing, they will completely catch you off gaurd and I, personally, didn't like them. Anyway, I would reccomend this book to someone, because its such a life lesson.

Review: This is a good book for teenagers to read, becasue it deals with things we experience during this years. I personally did not care for this book, but only becasue i disagreed with the choices she made in her life. You cannot read this book without wanting to become involved and help her. I suggest reading this book, beasue even if you dont enjoy it, you will take something from it.

Summary: A young girl named Alice gets involved with drugs and.....
Review: This book was really amazing. It was the best book I have ever read in my life and I really do not read books. It was really good, the author told us every detail about Alice except when the end came but that is okay. I think that this book should be taught and read to every Junior High and every High School throughout the world. The book was really good and I think that if they make every school read this book it will cut down on drug pushers and users in every school. Some of the language was not real nice but I think that if they would not have used it then the book would not have been so great. This book has made me and alot of my friends think twice about using drugs. The ending was pretty sad, I think it was not good but that happens when you get hooked on drugs. If people teach this book in schools I bet that it really would make alot of users and pushers quite using them and people that have not yet tried them never ever want to try them. He really turned alot of heads away from drugs from putting this book or diary on the shelf of alot of book stores.
