Rating: Summary: A must read for anyone interested in a REAL book. Review: I was in seventh grade when i read this book. It caused a great analytical expression of things that really go on. It was not nagging the reader that "drugs are bad" and "don't do drugs". It was rather a book that showed the true consequences of drug use.
Rating: Summary: Go ask Alice is a great book for teenagers. Review: I am a student at Salmen High School in Louisiana ,and we had to read go ask Alice for english class. This was the first book I've really enjoyed that Ive had to read at school. The topic might seem to bad for high school, but it's really interesting and exciting to read. I'd recomend this book to other students because I enjoyed it so much.
Rating: Summary: This book is a good book that brings you back to reality. Review: Go Ask Alice is a sure way to get your attention. It brings reality to you. It makes you wonder about your own life and the situations that you will face.
Rating: Summary: An important book that shows the effects of drugs on kids. Review: I found the book to be very interesting. One very important point was to stay away from drugs. It showed how one day your doing fine until you meet up with drugs, and then your life can go straight down hill. The author clearly showed how your personality can change, because of drugs. This book is in the form of a diary, so you see almost daily how the girl's personality changes. The book really made me think about how drugs could mess up my life. I think it should be read everywhere at the High School level to help everyone, including parents, think about drugs and consequences.
Rating: Summary: A horrifying truth about what drugs do to you and your life. Review: Go Ask Alice is such a great book! I think if teens would read this before they get involved in drugs it could change there mind about using them. Alice "was" just an average, everyday girl until one of her friends introduced her to what caused her pain, suffering and misery for the rest of her life. Alice made the mistake of using drugs and she payed for every bit of it. Could you imagine hurting your family and the people that love you just for a "high"?
Rating: Summary: a girl with a drug abuse Review: nice book for teenagers who are trying to use drugs and find out the harm of it.
Rating: Summary: This book is "OK" and somewhat informational. Review: I think that the book "Go Ask Alice" is an informing book. It informs young people about the consequences of running away, doing drugs, and selling drugs. The book is an a diary format so the reader does not know every detail about the characters or all that goes on in her life. I think that any high school teenager should read this book especially if you're around drugs or are thinking about running away. Some things I do not like about the book are that the author is anonymous. I like to know the author's name and gender. The author never really tells the main character's name or what she looks like. It just makes you curious about exactly what is going on in the character's life.
Rating: Summary: Educational Review: I read this book when I was 14yrs old. The year the book was written in had nothing to do with the way I felt. I prayed and hoped that Alice would finally kick her addictions and I cried when she lost the fight so many times. I learned from Alice the ugly truth about drugs. I can honestly say she is one of the reasons I never tried drugs. She showed me that even though the drugs make you forget your problems while you're high they're still there when you come down and there are always more everytime you come down. I would recommend this book to anyone wanting to show their kids the plain truth about drugs.
Rating: Summary: i liked how it tells about a girl struggling with drugs Review: the book go ask alice anonymous is a really good book about a young teen who struggles through life dealing with all sort of problems such as drugs. the boook is a good book to read i realized.
Rating: Summary: This book really hits you hard. Review: I recomend this book to teens because it really makes you want to stay away from drugs and not get involved with anyone who uses. This is the most real book i have ever real and touching books i have ever read.
