Summary: Great book...worth reading!
Review: Go Ask Alice is a book I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a book the keeps you reading till the end. Go Ask Alice is a book about real life situations with teens these days. The real dairy of this girl tells you all the details of her life while trying to get over her drug problem. She starts out thinking that drugs are great until she starts getting depressed and confused. She tries to stop but ends up starting again. Feeling relived at first she continues with many kinds of drugs. Then she gets into real problems when she runs away. Throughout the book she also is dealing with kids who threaten her. Whenever she tries to stop using drugs she finds the group of people who do drugs hate her for quitting but the normal people already hate her because she did (or does) drugs. She is caught up in everything. Can she make it?

Summary: Go Ask Alice is a guide to life, a must read book!
Review: Go Ask Alice is a remarkable story of a 15-16 year old girl and her troubles with drugs. Compiled by Beatrice Sparks. It is very hard to beleive that it is a real diary written by a real person because it is so intense. This book keeps the reader going. The story begins with Alice pouring her feelings out into her diary about a boy she likes that humiliated her. I have read the book twice and now when I look back to the parts when she is tripping out on LSD and all of the harrasment she had to deal with I realise how insignificant most peoples problems are. This book made me think. I felt like I was going through life with her. I felt what she felt. If you want a book thatyou wont be able to put down, go for this one. I recommend this book to the adult reading audience.

Summary: i read this book every few years.
Review: i read it for the first time when i was about 13 or 14, i don't remember how i heard about it though. i thought it was so great because it doesn't hide much at all. it also describes very well how kids really behave about drugs, and while on drugs.

Summary: This Book could be a LIFE-SAVER!
Review: go ask alice...the diary of a drug-user, and probably one of the most scariest book i have ever read--it breaks the rules, shatters the real world and tells you in a real honest message that this world is not what we think it is. go ask alice is not only a diary, but a groundbreaking documentary on the real world...an artifact of horrifying reality, and the provocative meaning of using drugs. go ask alice is not only a life-saver, but a book written that goes at full-force, and doesn't foreshadow, a book that read to its fullest. one of the best books ever released. you want some drugs? GO ASK ALICE!

Summary: Unbelievably genuine. It's fantastic!
Review: I bought this book to read on a long haul flight. Not being much of a reader, I just picked up the first book that was in my price range. I was absolutely hooked after I'd got past the first few pages. Needless to say, I finished it before I even started packing. Very hard-hitting novel. I was drawn in. I think everyone was!

Summary: A VERY COMPELLING NOVEL
Review: GO ASK ALICE was a really hard-hitting novel about a girl who was a drug addict.she was tricked into using drugs and eventually became addicted. She started dealing to her classmates,JR High and eventually grade school kids. She ran away with her friend Chris, who was an addict too, and were raped by Chris's boss who was a woman. They came back, but she ran away again and came back again only to realise she was an addict. She started to change and I was really proud of her.The whole book was wonderful. The ending was sad, but that just showed the realness of the book. The only part I didn't like about it was that the author was anonymous and It would have been nice to know what happend to the family afterwards.
