Summary: Go ask Alice
Review: I absolutely LOVED Go Ask Alice! It was a fabulous book about a typical teenager. I mean, it could be ANYONE! It was an amazing book about a normal teenage girl that's starts using drugs. Her life goes into a downward spiral as she starts experimenting with all different kinds of drugs and just when you think she could never get her life back together, she turns her life around. If you have been tempted to use drugs, read this book and you will change your mind. I recommend this book to anyone over the age of 10! It's the best book I have EVER read!

Summary: Great book you will have trouble putting it down.
Review: Go ask Alice is a great true life story. I loved it because it was written by a real person who experenced what happened to her. I wouldn't recomned this book to immature girls who don't like to her about drugs, sex, and guys. But it's a really good book any how.

Summary: It's a fraud, but a page-turner.
Review: I guess I get annoyed with these "IT REALLY HAPPENED" books like the Amytiville Horror and the works of Mike Warnke, but I would give the book 4-5 stars if only it was honest about its intent.

This FICTIONAL account of a girl suffering from drug addiction hits all the drug hysteria urban legends from marketing drugs to schoolchildren to the vast Hollywood conspiracy. It's silly but it moves along at an even clip. Dr. Sparks does make the main character a real whiner which is irritating but there are several trashy and lurid scenes that happen to this awful girl that you don't mind so much.

My favorite scene is when she's babysitting and because of her malicious druggie friends the candy turns out to be SPIKED WITH LSD! The sheer tenacity of pulling that kind of stunt still intrigues me. To buy drugs simply so you can break into the house where someone you know is going to be babysitting will be, spike the candy and then sneak away without anyone knowing that you've been there. It boggles the mind. It's even better than spiking the middle school teacher's coffee with LSD and managing to keep the acid from harmlessly dissipating like it does in temperatures of 30 degrees or higher. This is an awesome book to read while you're high.

Summary: A emotional and distressing book about durg and fitting in.
Review: I thought the book was very good and it was a emotional rollercoaster. Then book is mostly about resisting and starting over. The troubles of quiting and tring to get away, but never succeding. The hardness in going insain and being sent off. The world rejecting her and the hash truth of life. The book is very detail in the common drug abuse today.

Summary: I really liked this book. It shows how some teenagers live.
Review: I really enjoyed this book. It showed how life is for some teenagers in this world. This is a true diary of a young teenage girl that had a troubled life. She got stuck on drugs and was a runaway. She would quit and you would began to think that her life was going to get better and then she would start on them again. She leads you through her troubled life and really makes you understand how she feels when she is on drugs. She talks about her love life and normal things that teenagers go through. I would recommend this book to any age group. No matter how old you are this shows you how easy it is for teenagers to get caught on something. It also shows you how you can help someone with this type of problem.

Summary: This is SUCH a good book!
Review: I really like this book because the main character, "Alice," is so much like me. It's a lot more fun to read a book written by somebody who is my age, rather than an adult who is trying to remember what it was like to be a teenager.
