Rating: Summary: My favorite book ever Review: This book is the greatest, most wonderful book I have ever read. I first read it in grade 8 and I bought it, since then I read this book every year and never get sick of it. It is based on a real diary of a teenage girl that has to face what most teens have to deal with in today's society and in the past. She goes through extreme difficult times and after reading this book you will feel as if she could be any of your friends, you would feel as if Alice is some part of you. This book does not ask you to feel sorry for someone because of their life situation but it reveals the cold hard truth behind drugs and the reality that most people involved in them ignore. Drugs are addicting, they are powerful and they can take over your life, and you can't do anything about it as your own life is slipping away from your fingers because then you will realize it's too late...and so did she.
Rating: Summary: Mandys Review for English Review: In the book Go Ask Alice a young teenage girl turns to drugs after having a rough time with life...Go Ask Alice was a very powerful and emotional book. This poor girl lives in a world where she wants nothing more then to be accepted and for some reason she cant get it. In the outcome she turns to drugs. It puts you right in her shoes and shows exactly how she felt. It felt as though you were right there going through this experience or knew the person that was going through it. Being in high school doesn't make you understand the book more; any age person could understand this or relate to it. Having a friend taken from me from drugs made this book even more powerful. I cried so many times during this book, I would recommend it to anyone, even someone who doesn't like to read.

Rating: Summary: Teaches you alot Review: I am 15 and for a school i decided to read Go Ask Alice. Its about a girl who is in a small town and her family decides to move to another town. She is excited that she can start over and become a new person with new friends. She is lonley at first until she runs into the wrong croud. She starts getting into drugs, running away, having sex, and just getting out of comtrol. Throughout the book she tries to quit everything and keeps falling back till right at the end when things change. The book is ecellent and helped me alot you should read it esoecially teens.
Rating: Summary: BUY ANOTHER BOOK! Review: Many people discribe Go Ask Alice as an emotional, touching book that really hits close to home. While this may sound abrasive, I find that people who felt that way were captured by the typical "I feel sorry for people like that and I'm a humanitarian." The book was full of whining and unrealistic details. I say unrealistic because it has been revealed that Go Ask Alice is actually a book written by Beatrice Sparks. This book is for the reader intrested in something short but very deep. Everything is mostly straight forward but parts of the story can become very confusing. I did not like the book, but that doesn't mean I'm not a humanitarian.
Rating: Summary: Go Ask Allice Review: Go Ask Alice is about a teenage girl that has to move to a new place because her dad gets a new job. Alice is not sure what to think because she has to move away from her friends and her grandparents. She has to start over in a new town, and gets mixed up in the wrong crowd. She starts to run away from home as well as doing drugs. Her world comes crashing down around her. Alice tries to help herself, but nothing seems to work. This anonymous diary shows how a young girl struggles with life. Go Ask Alice is an easy book to read. When you read it you have to realize that it is a lonely book. It is not a close friend. I would buy this book because it is such an amazing read.

Rating: Summary: Go Ask Alice Review: I've read this book twice. Once in dutch at highschool, when we had to read an hour each week. Half way trough i went to the library to get a copy couse i didnt want to stop read it. The second time i bought the english version, and it only took me a few days to read it. It really gets to you, because it reads like your close to her end want to know what's gonna happen next. You really should read this book. It gives you a bit of an idea what happens when you get involved with drugs, and all of their consequences. It really worth the time. Have fun reading it, Dutchess
