Rating: Summary: JUST GREAT! :) Review: This book is so good. I say that if you want to read a good book this is the one tha you should read. It is just so true, you could actually feel the pain that this character is going through. It also makes you realize that there is so many people in this world that need help, but are just, too scared to say.
Rating: Summary: A great book! Review: This book is an amazing real life story of a girls life. It is the brutal truth of what can happen when you take drugs. Rating: Summary: A Great book Review: GO ASK ALICE is one of the best books I have ever read. It kept me in suspense because I never knew what was going to happen to Alice next. I couldn't put the book down.
Rating: Summary: The Best Book I've Ever Read Review: Go Ask Alice is a really interesting diary about a teenage girl that goes through many problems. It is a true story that she tells about a really hard time in her life. Awful things just keep happening to her and this leads her to drugs and the wrong kind of people. This shows teens how easy it is to get involved in drugs. Alice's problems are real and the way she deals with her problems don't get her anywhere in life. I think this is a book that catches the reader's attention. Once you pick it up, you won't be able to put it down. There is not a boring part in the book. This is definitely a book that I recommend for teenagers.
Rating: Summary: The most thought-provoking book ever! Review: This is the best book I've ever read. It deals with all the troubles that a young drug-addict goes through, including that crave for drugs while knowing it's wrong. As I said, it's the most thought-provoking book I have ever laid my hands on. It gives you an inside look at the world of teenage junkies; You can see (and maybe even live) what an addict goes through without making those mistakes, without getting high. If you've ever felt curiosity towards drugs, if you've ever had any doubts about them, this book will get you cleared up. After reading it, you won't want to have anything to do with drugs. I recommend this book to everyone, specially to us teenagers. One more thing, be careful with your "friends", that's how the writer got ito this mess...
Rating: Summary: Simply amazing... Review: This book is incredibly. It is about a girl living through the 60's involved in drugs. Want to know the real, hard core truth about what drugs do to you? Get this book. Not only will you find out about drugs, but Go Ask Alice will touch your heart in many ways. I recommend this book to absolutly anyone who wants to know about one girl's life surviving through the non-forgiving world of drugs and it's terror. There are also sections of the book where she talks about other things, not JUST drugs.. Family, friends, guys..I just finished this book and I now know how awful drugs can be.. Thanks for reading.
Rating: Summary: It`s hard to read for a non english speaker Review: It`s hard to read for a non english speaker but the bookisgood. My opinion about "Go ask Alice" I think GO ASK ALICEis an extremely powerful book dealing with the trouble a teenager faces after being turned down a path of drugs and sex by peer pressure. Alice's diary takes readers into a world few manage to come back from, making this book a good way to show teens what drugs can do to you without them making the mistake on their own. I thought this book was very good and held a good message. It is good for teenagers because it shows the true picture of what drugs will do. It shows the joy she felt while she was high but it also expressed the agony she went through when she was not high. Teens can also relate because the book was written by a real person about the same age. GO ASK ALICE convinces the reader not to use drugs in a way no other book does. It describes the positive aspects of drugs quite realistically, but then explains in great detail how the draw backs are a million times worse than the positives. I can't say this book will be more informative than any other anti-drug book, but it is presented in the best possible way. It has information that is hard to deal with and makes you want to cry because this girl went through so much pain and stress. I read this book in German before and so I understand the plot although there were so many unknown words and so many setting changes. Finally I know why GO ASK ALICE is part of the curriculum.
Rating: Summary: You'll think twice about doing drugs. Review: This is a sad, sad book. It talks about Alice, and she goes through all these changes. One day she's doing drugs, the next she's not. I feel sorry for Alice. I know they're are more 'Alices' out there that need help. I can only hope they find this book. I found myself hoping and praying for Alice throughout the book. But whether or not your doing or thinking about drugs, it's a must-read. The only thing is some descriptions leave me with gory images in my mind. So maybe read it when you're 12 and up. Unless you think you can handle it. But trust me, this book is intense.

I recommend this book to anyone as a good read that is hard to put down.
Rating: Summary: A Classic Review: Everyone can relate to Alice's story. Even if you've never tried a drug in your life, you will be able to relate to her anguish and pain. You will find your self in the story some how. If you like this book I suggest you buy "The Perks Of Being A Wallflower".
