Review: I never read the book but years ago I sean the movie on TV, and always wounder where to find it so I can watch it again.

Summary: 25 years ago, eh? Golly, I read it when it came out!
Review: It was (and is) a terrific book and I was a teen in the early 1970's when I first read this book. A teen reviewer's comment (in a prior post) that "no 15 year old could be this naive about drugs" is not quite accurate.

Things were VERY different for teens 25 years ago. Our world has changed a lot in these last 3 decades, but the message in "Go Ask Alice" is timeless.

I'd STRONGLY recommend this book as required reading for all teens, though as I recall, there is some inappropriate language.

The ending is especially troubling and though I've read thousands of books in the last thirty years, I can still remember MUCH of "Go Ask Alice." It is a powerful message with imagery and word pictures that make deep and lasting impressions.

Summary: An outstanding book that all should read
Review: This awsome book says all about drugs. It teaches people not only the danger about drugs but the dark side of human that every people have. This book shocked me greatly, I don't know how to explain how much effect it has on my life. This book is a must for all the people that wants to know the world and the importance of life.

Summary: alice - or the life of an addict
Review: i think if we talk about the subject of drugs we have to define some facts that must be mentioned: there are different types of books on the issue of drugs - if you like stories about the friendship of teenagers in the 60s, you may stick to "that was then this is now", but if you want to know how drugs can influence your brain, you could take "go ask alice" - the story of a 15-17 years old girl, leaving home when she starts taking drugs.

to my mind it seems like a copy of the "rocky horror picture show" - but the book is after all quite shocking because the story seems to be realistic. So if you want to read a diary-show of the horrifying trips of alice with her inferiority complex - just go ahead and buy the book

Summary: this book was wonderful
Review: This book was gripping and realistic. Unlike other books that adult authors try to write to correspond with what they think us teenagers think and feel. This was from a teenagers point of view. I have never related to a book more than I realated to this book. I loved it.

Summary: Go Ask Alice
Review: "Go Ask Alice" is a book that touches the lives of everybody who reads it. Its real-life situations make it easy for all teenagers to relate to.

The real-life diary charts a teenage girl's struggle with the fatal world of drugs. No teenager should be without this book! An extrodinary read.

On a more personal note, I can say that this book truly made an impact on my life. I never actually took the time to stop and think about how a spiked drink could change my life forever. I find myself being very cautious when I go to a party. "Go Ask Alice" truly changed my views on drugs. I never thought they could be so harmfull untill after I read this book. Let the powers of this book touch you too. Read "Go Ask Alice" and you will what I am talking about!

Summary: Go Ask Alice
Review: This book, Go Ask Alice goes where no book has dared to go before. It keeps you on the edge of your seat and you never know what is going to happen to Alice next. It takes you places you could never imagine. This is a great book for teenagers, it is a book most kids can relate their life to in some way. It is very true and doesn't hide anything, its shows the severe problems of a teenage girl named Alice who unfortunately got involved with drugs. Go Ask Alice is very touching and sad to have to watch this girl go through all these serious life-threatening problems. I would reccommend this book to anyone. It is very gritty book, but it is the true life of a drug abuser and is very interesting. Go Ask Alice teaches many important lessons and is an excellent book for both teenagers and parents of teenagers to read. It teaches kids why it is so important to listen to your parents and obey all their rules so you do not get yourself into trouble because once your invovled in drugs, most of the time there is no way out.

Summary: it's great for teenagers, it teaches important morals
Review: This was a wonderful book. I was 13 when I read it but I think it would be even more suitable for someone around the age of 15. It really helps with understanding why not to do drugs and to listen to your parents. It also helps us understand why our parents tell us these things so that we won't make the mistakes this young girl did. I recomend it for parents to get there teenagers to help prove the point of why not to run away and disobey parents in certain ways.

Summary: A sorrowful but excellent book
Review: Even though this is about a fifteen year old, and I am only twelve, I thought this was a great book that taught me about drugs and not to take them. I reccomend this book to anyone, it will sure leave a stunning affect on you.
