Summary: An Exciting Ride
Review: Hate, fear, and depression are what are haunting a teenage girl named Alice. Go Ask Alice is a true story about a teenage girl addicted to drugs. Her life was just being a normal child. Then one day, everything changed when she was introduced to LSD. She was not only afraid but also excited at the same time. She was introduced to other, different drugs that made her think that she could not live without them and that were also destroying her life. She was hurting herself and her whole family too. She was a girl who wandered the streets, who had fear inside her of ending up dead or preagnant, and who was confused as to why every time her family accepted her back. She was a girl in need of help. This book is a very interesting and dangerous adventure that would interest young and older people. It's a true story that could happen to anybody. Go Ask Alice is a book I would recommend to everybody, not only because it is an interesting story of a out-of-control teenager, but because of the facts that everybody should watch out for. Go Ask Alice is no ordinary book; it's a book that would take you to see the real world of drugs.

Summary: THE TRUE LIFE OF A GIRL
Review: The novel GO ASK ALICE is "a virtual tour of an American girl tossed into the world of drugs," states a critic. This book is about the degeneration of a life, soul and body. A girl with a "perfect" life is forced to alter from a child into an adult virtually overnight. She cultivates a crass attitude, and becomes paranoid, all because of her newly found lust for drugs. This book was like a confession. It made me feel like even the sweetest and most perfect people can be living in devastation. The reason why this is a good choice is because it is an actual diary. She poured her heart into this diary. Nothing was changed; it was all her own words and thoughts. The book was real; the author is innocent and then changes completely--almost spontaneous. Reading this book opened my eyes. It made me realize the things I had, and that I should not tamper with my life for trivial matters. I am cognizant of her errors and I have learned from them, so in the future these things do not happen to me. I personally feel bad that she went through those problems, but you have to do things on your own and make your own decisions. At least she learned form her mistakes and hopefully you will after reading this book.

Summary: Perfect for teenage girls
Review: Alice is a young teen who goes from dating her crush Roger to the seductive world of drugs. At 12, while attending junior high , Alice finds out she will be moving to a town where she knows no one and will have to start all over. She moves into her new town thinking that she can start her life fresh and have a good beginning. Alice ends up meeting the wrong crowd. On September 26 Alice smokes pot for the first time, and the following weekend at a party her drink is spiked with LSD. After this Alice goes through many hard times dealing wiht her drug addictions. Her life is a full blown-out journey now that at the young age of 13 she is addicted to many various drugs and has no way to control it. The book Go Ask Alice is a great book for young readers. I really enjoyed reading it. When I read through each day of her life, I thought about my life, and how grateful I am not to be in her situation. I can relate to Alice because I know of some teens my age who are going through the same things she was. It is good to know that you aren't alone.

Summary: It's just like real life
Review: I thought the book "Go Ask Alice" was very well written. It never got boring. I enjoyed this novel because it sounded like somebody's real life. I think that almost everyone can relate to this story of a girl [whose name is unknown] who goes through some tough times with drugs which in turn makes her go through some rough patches with her family and friends. Although the book kept my interest, I thought there were to many characters to remember. When she had no dates to some of her diary entries, I found that to be realistic because she had no idea what day it was and the sad part was she didn't care. The question that pops into my head when I read this was," Is this a real life story if so, did her family even really know about the scary events at that time in her life?" Thinking about that I think they didn't really want to know because if so they would've asked or been more a part of her life. I do think that it was sweet that her parents had this diary supposedly printed [if it's a true story] to warn kids about the dangers of drugs and so that parents could see and maybe try to understand what some kids go through; or maybe parents will try to get an interest more in their children. Over all I really thought this novel was thought-provoking and interesting. I really enjoyed this novel.

Summary: Exciting
Review: The book Go Ask Alice is a book that seemed so real to me. I felt like I was reading a friends diary but yet I couldn't do anything to help her or change the way she was. At first the girl doesn't do anything bad. The only thing she has problems with was society such as school and her acquaintances. But every teen goes through this. One day she goes over a girl's house and the girls friends spike her drink with LSD. This is the first time she's ever done any kind of drug and it is scary but yet exciting to her. After she has done this, she wants to try weed. Then, her whole future goes down hill from here on.. She goes from being homeless, raped, and mentally abused and has to deal with deaths in her family all at the same time. She even ends up in an institution but that's all I'm going to give away. This is a very good book. You will never want to put this book it down. Trust me! You'll love it.

Summary: After reading Go Ask Alice...
Review: The book Go Ask Alice is an actual diary of 15 year old girl. It shows us how easy it is to get involved with drugs. This book was really good to read, because you can really understand what's happening if you ever use drugs. Some people don't know the serious danger of drugs. But when you read this book you can actually learn about it. This knowledge of drugs can protect you from serious danger. I'm so glad that in my life I got to read this book, because now I have some ideas to protect myself from drugs. I really want to share this book with my best friend. I strongly recommend it.
