My review is Alice or should i say the anonymous girl was into alot of drugs but she wasnt always like that at the beging she seemed like a quiet little girl but after i started reding everything changed. My favorite part in the book was when she first gotten into drugs she didnt seem that afraid she didnt think much about the drugs she didnt feel she had a problem.I dont want to tell you to much but if you like books that you can relate to or you know someone who uses drugs then this is a book for you or you just like reading books that are interesting.I had to read this book for school but i found it to be a really good book i read alot of books. If you dont like reading u will like reading this.

Summary: what happen at the end
Review: I don't understand this book to me it was a lot of confusion with her in her life. If you read this book make sure you pay close attention to the detail and every little part of the book to completely understand it. The book Go Ask Alice was an anonymous book so don't go hurting your self trying to find out who she is . I hope you have as good or better luck with understanding this book than I did.

Summary: Go Ask Justin
Review: "Go Ask Alice" is one of the few books I've ever liked in school. This book is very acurate along the lines of the "drug scene". I know this is a good book because alot of the stuff that was described in there, happened in my life too. "Go Ask Alice" is a very detailed portal into the mind and life of a teenager. I found this book to be Very interesting in the way that it described her problems and her fears. There are alot of different people in this book that Alice meets along her little venture. This is a very deeply-writen book about the life of a teenage girl that cant seem to find her place in society. I recommend this book to anyone and everyone.

Summary: Sweet Addiction
Review: "Go Ask Alice" is a great book! It's a personal diary about anonymous teenage girl who gets addicted to drugs and her everyday struggles with life. The diary is very descriptive about the events that take place in her life. From begging to end it keeps the reader glued to the book. "Alice" gets involved with drugs when her so called friends slip a little something into her drink at a party. From there on everything just went downhill for her. She quickly gets hooked and can't get away from her "sweet addiction." There's nothing sweet about though really. Being involved with drugs leads her to sexual intercourse with random men and running away from home several times. Her parents being good people try and help her with her problem, but it's her mess. She got herself involved and now she has to get herself out.
I would definitely recommend this book to a teenage girl. It's so detailed that it's almost as if you are there with Alice facing her everyday challenges.

Summary: Worth the read.
Review: This book is a powerful read for teen-agers especially. The fact that it is a diary makes it seem like you get to know the young writer personally.

Summary: a fictional story full of misinformation and lies
Review: first off, this book is not the diary of a teenage drug addict. it was written by beatrice sparks, author of many similar scare stories designed to discourage teens from drugs, premarital sex and satan worshiping. and, as anyone who has ever been a teenage drug addict, or even a casual experimenter will tell you, this book is a completely inaccurate representation of drug culture. i was forced to read this book when i was in high school, and re-reading it now i find it just as laughable and factually faulty. while i do not in any way condone drug use, i am firmly opposed the use of LIES and PROPAGANDA to teach our children not to use drugs. the dangers of drug abuse should not be taught by the use of fear. real information about drug abuse is available, with REAL stories about REAL people. DO NOT BUY THIS BOOK.

Summary: don't waste your time
Review: I thought I'd read some terribly written books before, but this had to be the worst. I've been pushing myself through it and I've almost quit reading it about 10 times. The only reason I've kept on is because my brother asked me to read it and I don't want to disappoint him. The book is so clearly written by an adult trying to get into the mind of a child. The "A Real Diary" quote on the front in such a farce. My brother's friend told him the government admitted to putting this book out to scare kids away from drugs, and I actually have no problem believing that. Do yourself a favor and spend your time reading a better book. The Giver by Lowis Lowry and The Bell Jar by Sylvia Plath are both excellent.
