Summary: This book is full of truth
Review: I have read this book well over 5 times. Every time it gets better and better. I can ralate to a lot of what Alice went through.(drugs etc...) She reveals the raw truth about drugs and how they can screw with your life. I often think of what she could have been and would have done if she hadn't died in that way. I am so curious to know how her death really happened. Someone out there knows. I think this book will open peoples eyes.

Summary: Truth in Her Eyes
Review: Alice is a confused, mixed up, ordinary teenager. All she ever wanted to do was to fit in, whether it took losing weight, growing her hair and going to drugged out parties, or turning her hair up and hanging out with the squares. She travels randomly to distant cities with her friend and drug of the moment searching for her future. From utopia to hell, Alice explores the dark world of drug users, until, after time and again, she gives up drugs is threatened by her very friends from her hippy days. Joel is her saving grace, making the end sad but sweet.

Summary: Go ask Alice - VR
Review: This book was really interesting and sad. It also made me appreciate my life, and really made me want to prioritize it better. It was even more intesting and sad because the main character was not fictional.

Summary: Go Ask Alice
Review: Go Ask Alice is a book that captivates the life of a teenage drug user. It is a book I recommend all parents to read! It will help you, as parents understand the different situations children go through. Situations children have been faced with for years now. This book is a great mind opener, it gives great insight in to the minds of drug users, at least in to the mind of one of the many who abuse drugs. Go Ask Alice is not only a book parents should read but teenagers should also read this book. It will touch in so many levels, it will also allow you to relate to some of the conflicts brought up by the author. I, as a teenager was very shocked by some of the things the author talked about. I was able to understand why kids are so droned to use drugs. It is a real life story that will seem fiction to you even though you are aware of it being real. Once you read this book you will never forget it, you will never forget her!

Summary: **One of the best books I have ever read!**
Review: Go Ask Alice is definitely one of the best books I have ever read! The sotry is about a girl who tries to make it through her teenage years while juggling many problem at once. There are so many issues that this girl struggles with, that any person of any age who reads this book will have something to relate their lives to. The reader should also enjoy learning about the problems that other families have. If you think that the problems in your life are bad, wait until you read this book, and then you will see that things could be much worse. All in all, this is a great book, and I would highly reccomend that you read it. It will give you insight into not only the life of a vulnerable teenage girl, but also your own life.

Summary: My Review
Review: When i first started reading this book, I couldn't put it down. I ended up finishing the book in a day and a half. Personally, I thought the book was excellent. When my teacher handed it to me, I had already read the book once, but I was more than pleased to read it again. The truth and reality of the book made it hard to put down. It is a diary of a teenage girl, who isn't exactly Ms. Popular.....I would highly recommend this book to anyone, of both sexes. Alice has a life like many girls in this lifetime. Always trying to do things to "fit in". If you read this book, you will never forget it. And if you are in the drug scene right now, then I bet that you will think twice from now on. And remember to choose your friends wisely. P.S.- You have a mind, use it. Don't let someone con you into doing things that you don't want to do.

Summary: perfect early teen reading-gets to the point
Review: Loved this book when I was 12 and highly recommend it to my middle school students now. "Alice" is easy to like and relate to. The times were different but the emotions are the same. Thought provoking, sad and necessary.

Summary: Go Ask Alice
Review: Go ask Alice is a great story and I would recommend it to any teenager who thinks drugs is great because in the world we live in today drugs can destroy your whole life. In the diary of this girl (Alice), she started off like any normal girl who had a loving family and one night at a party she tried LSD and because it was such a great feeling she got from the drug, she continued to use more and more. When she finally realized that drugs werent the answer she stopped but her life had changed so much and it would never be the same. Throughout the rest of her highschool years she was harrased by all the students and she was known as a drugee. You may think that it is ok to even try a few drugs but its not. They're dangerous and will destroy your whole life. After reading this true story I hope teenagers will start to think twice. I felt it like I was in Alice's shoes. I felt her pain and suffering and I thought to myself im so glad that im not like that. So I encouraged everyone possible including parents to read this book and enter Alice's world. You will definetly think twice!!

Summary: A Girl and Drugs
Review: Go ask Alice is a true story about a girl with some serious problems looking for a solution. While looking for the solution she runs into the world of drugs. At first it provides temporary relief from her stress, but it only puts her in a mush worse position that she started with. I thought Go ask Alice was an interesting book because it was true. Reading about the hardships and problems of others is not what I find amusing, but the fact that these kinds of things actually happen in the world and one single choice you make can affect the rest of your life. It helps me understand a parent's concern for their kids and the activities that they participate in. It was tragic the way the main character kept returning to the world of drugs after she swore to stay clean. It makes one realize how powerful and addiction can be.

Summary: Fun reading for teenagers
Review: This book was given to me as a homework assignment and instead of being totally bored by it, I really enjoyed it. This was a very interesting and easy to read story. Tt is especially good for teenagers because it is very easy for them to relate to this book. It is about a girl who keeps a diary about everything she does. She starts taking drugs and goes on a wild rollercoaster ride of her being happy and sad. The overall big message of this book is to not "do drugs" and may seem better to teenagers coming from somebody who has already been through it. I would recommend this book to anyone whether it's for homework or just for fun.
