Summary: Wonderful book that really makes an impact
Review: I read this book about 10-15 yrs ago and I still remember it. I havent read it in a long time and decided to get it and read it again.This book really had an effect on me growing up. When you are young you run into a lot of things that can get you in trouble, one of these things are drugs. This book truly gave me an insight of what drugs can do to you and that it is NOT the "cool thing to do". I will never forget this book. Whether this book is fact or fiction I do not know, nor do I care. Bless whoever wrote it and if it was a diary bless the people that allowed it to be put in print.

Summary: Outstanding
Review: this was a harrowing account of a girl who got sucked into a life of drugs. Alice was only 15 when her life of drugs began. her 1st time using drugs, she was unaware of the dangers and just thought she was playing a harmless game. Beleive me, that game was definitly not harmless! I commend the way her family stuck together throughout her ordeal. This book was a must read book for me and hopefully it will or already has made an impact on your life. Overall I gave it a full 5 stars!

Summary: A Book That Will Teach You Something
Review: "Go Ask Alice" was really a book that I think everyone should read, drug abuser or not. It will really teach you something about how a person gets into drugs and the horrifying problems that develop in this girl's life. I can promise you, if you read this book, you will nevr even want to think about trying drugs. Here's why.... The anonymous girl in this book writes in her diary almost everyday about her life. In the beginning, she seems just like a happy normal teenager, but by the middle of the book, she goes to a party and someone puts the drugs in her drink, and that is what starts her on the road to addiction. Pretty soon, she just can't get enough of drugs. She runs away, and not only are drugs a part of her life, but now sex, lies, and much more have taken over her also. You have to read this book and find out what happens to this girl. It is a very sad and scary book, but you have to read it still, just to realze what this girl has to go through with drugs.

Summary: A book everyone should read
Review: After reading "Go Ask Alice", I am a firm believer that every high school/middle school kid should have to read this. The diary of Alice shows a very real world of what can happen when tangled with drugs. It shows how your life, relationships, and everything else you care about can fall apart. Being a true story, it shows that what you hear about drugs are not made up. On top of all that, it is an enjoyable read, sometimes painfully hard to read through. "Go Ask Alice" is definitely the best book of it's kind.

Summary: I hated books until i read this....
Review: I absolutly HATED!!!!! books. My friend introuduced me to "Go Ask Alice" and i couldn't believe the description, it was the most interesting thing i have ever read, and even thought i haven't read alot cause i hate books, i absolutly fell in love with this book! I hope to find more like it, and i HIGHLY suggest you read this book no matter what age you are. This book will show teenagers that its not ok to do drugs and exactly what it can do to you. Once you see Alice's point of view, you won't want to start on drugs, and it shows how addicting they really are. I know i will never forget this book, and that if you read it, you won't either. Read this book, it is so good, i can't even put how great it is in words.

Review: when my dad bought me this ook i read it within 3 days. i enjoyed reading this book because it is a good book and has a lot of messages in it. a young teenage girl died over something stupid. she thought she needed something and really didn't. she was under a lot of peer pressure. with me a tennager right now. it says a lot of messages out about drugs and a lot of other things. alice thought she needed these things to be happy do this or to do that but she had it all at home. it also made realize that you dont need drugs or sex just to satisfy you or to make you happy. why turn to something bad when you have something good at home?

Summary: must read for every teen in north america!
Review: unlike some of the other reviews written about this book, i will not bore you with all the reasons you shouldnt do drugs. just read the book. it's gripping, yet frustating; alice doesnt seem believable as a born again non junkie OR as a depressed teen deep in the spiral of drugs. its sad to think what she could have been capable of without drugs.

Review: I loved the book. I got it out of the school library the about 20 minutes before the end of the day and was finished by 7pm that night...I couldn't put it down...I asked several friends (both male and female) to read it, and every one of them loved it as well. I recomend it to anyone and everyone.

Summary: It saved my life...
Review: I read this a few years ago when I just turned a teenager. I was going through a difficult time with peers and eventually turned into drugs. However, I was always an avid reader. Fate brought me to this book and it changed my life completely. It gave me the courage to give up drugs and find a better life! This diary is something that should be required reading for every teenager. Telling of the horrifying truth of a life on drugs, it's enough to scare a person away. The shocking details are what teens -need- to know. This book can save more lives than mine! Alice could be any one of us.
