Summary: A realistic story of a girl who couldn't say no
Review: I though this book was so good. It was incredibly realistic, so realistic that i felt like I was a part of alice. The book represented the peer pressure among teens and how it is very very hard to get off drugs, even when you make promises to yourself.

Summary: Go Ask Alice
Review: I liked the book, Go Ask Alice, but sometimes it was shocking to the mind. I recommend this book to anyone who is feeling lost or thinks that drugs may be the answer. It is a gripping novel that will reach out to your heart. Go Ask Alice is a real look into the life of a drug user. The surprise ending will scare anyone out of ever doing drugs. Your emotions will go up and down. Read it, and you will never be the same.

Summary: Innocence Lost by the Almighty LSD
Review: First of all, I do not think that Alice is the name of the person who wrote the diary. Why you say? Because this book is by anonymous. And the name on the cover completely contradicts the simbolism of the word anonymous. But about the contents of the book, I have to give credit where credit is due. This is a must read book. It is about a not nerdy, but not a cool-crowd person if you will, person who is terrified to even think about topics such as sex, drugs, disobedience and etc. But one day she gets invited to a party. She goes and they play a game where 10 out of 14 coke bottles have been spiked with LSD (Acid). Luckily, according to the girl who wrote this, this was the greates thing that has ever happened to her. It is downhill from here. She gets addicted to speed, tries Marijuana, cocaine, heroin, and other drugs. She loses her virginity with a boy she barely met while under the influence. Drugs, to her, are a tomble to the floor from where she could never completely recuperate. But I do not want to give to much information out. You must read this book. It is worth the time and money, believe me. You will never believe this could ever happen to you, so did she.

Summary: Answering Our Blackest Desires
Review: As an eighteen year old girl, facing the forboding world of drugs, sex, and hard-core reality, I was able to relate to Go Ask Alice in a way I hadn't even begun to imagine. So in order to show my true admiration for this book, I will share with you the following: Go Ask Alice is a literary passageway into a truly troubled mind of adolescence. Alice immodestly shares with the world the constant wearing away of innocence that leaves the whole body bleeding and sore and prone to the infections of the world's reality. Alice plays the role of curiosity, rebellion, purpose, and insufficiency- all the stinging aspects of young life. She reveals to us the darkest desires of a generation before adulthood and she shows all the paths to which these desires can lead. She braves the roads of broken glass that symbolize the nightmarish worlds of the drug world and she fights to find her way back to the well-beaten path of a straight person. Go Ask Alice is a piece of literature that not only warns readers of the seductive powers of a drug-induced escape but allows us to get to know one young girl who could not resist such a seduction. Alice is simple, truthful, and completely real- she will become a part of any reader, young or old, and will leave a mark deep in the heart and mind of anyone who has to chance to read her entries. This novel is a timeless piece that will forever reveal the black side of the mind that haunts adolescence and will forever answer our blackest desires by saying, "Just go ask Alice."

Summary: Sugar & Spice & Everything Nice. Acid & Smack & No Way Back
Review: Go ask Alice is a real diary that is a must read for parents and teens and young kids that are about to expericence the party scene (have them read this book before it's to late)! It's a little borning at first, but don't put it down for long. It will pick up and you wont regreat it at all. I bought this book when I was a teen myself and I have keep it all these years so I can have my own kids read it so they can learn the dangers of drugs by reading this book and not by experience like poor Alice did, unfortantly we can't ask Alice anything at all anymore (but you will get all you need to know from her diary) becuase she is in heaven now with no more pain or tortures. You will never forget this book, I haven't.

Summary: Go Ask Alice
Review: I think that Go Ask Alice should be read by every single teenager in the world and also every parent should read it. This book is a real diary of a girl who took drugs and died. It was very sad but all teenagers should know how bad drugs are once you've read this book, you will never forget Alice. If you are a parent of a teenager even your teenager might be taking drugs in some abandoned parking lot or something, just like I saw yesterday at Albertsons late at night when my mom took me shopping. I just know that if your teen reads this book they will definately be frightened to never take drugs again.

Summary: Drug War Hype
Review: This is an entertaining bit of fluff designed to frighten teens. Anybody who believes that this is really a diary written by a drug addict would have to be incredibly naive. It is clearly scripted, with limited credibility, and leads young readers into false assumptions about drugs. The book is potentially damaging because as soon as adolescents uncover one of its lies, they begin to doubt everything it contains. Yes, drug addiction is nasty and harsh, but this is not how it happens. Check out 'Permanent Midnight' or 'Junky' instead.

Summary: This ACTUAL Diary makes you feel like you are Alice!
Review: I originally thought that this book was going to be boring.. i had to read it for my summer reading for school. After a few pages.. i was hooked. I could not believe that this was a real diary of a real girl. This book is very descriptive and I personally think that every teenager should read it. This book shows what a life hooked on drugs is really like and how horrible it is. I also think that this is a good book for adults to read so they can understand what it is like for many teenagers today!

Summary: Expiriencing drugs without trying them
Review: Although this book was sticky in some parts and tasteless in others, it all mounded up into a big bunch of suspense...there were little bunches of happiness and amazement too...and now when I think of it, it reminds me of chocolate covered peanut clusters =) Truly an incredible diary for a teenager, considering I could never write one as detailed or knowledgeable as "Anonymous", even if I'm only 13. I really enjoyed this book, even though it tells you the "sensations" of drugs, it shows you what a mess you can really get into...if you intend on reading this book or have read it already, I also suggest reading "Smack"..I read it a while back and it is more understandable and tells a little more about the side effects of heroin..both of these books about drugs made me feel a little more "deperessed", but it teaches a whole lot.

Summary: Learn from this girl and do not make the same mistakes
Review: This book is a real diary and shows what this girl went through and what you could go throgh if you make some of the same choices. I think that this book shows people a lot of reasons why they should not start taking drugs! When parents tell there kids to watch out who they hang out with you should listen because this girl just went to hang out with these kids the first time and ended up taking drugs without even knowing it. When you think something is wrong you should get out of there. Once this girl had some drugs she wanted more and more. She wanted to start tring new drugs. Some drugs that she tried were really addiciting and she could not stop taking them. Well she ends up runing away and ends up getting hurt phically and emotionally. So this is my advise to you if you are at a party and you see drugs, beer, ect. you get out and if you don't but you find out later that you had some or there was some there like the party inthis diary I would advise you to tell someone before you are addicted because you may go through a really bad time or even die!!
