Rating: Summary: Wow This Book Has Touched My Life! Review: I thought that this was one of the most interesting books I have ever read. Wow it was so fascinating to read about how a drug user got introduced into drugs and what happens. The best thing that I liked about the book was IT WAS AN ACTUAL DIARY OF A REAL GIRL! There were some parts in the book about sexual things that I really didn't prefer to read but it just ties in with the book. How many of you out there that have read this book really wanted her to live and to know what happened to the poor girl? I defiantly recommend this book to anyone who loves to read or even a lot of teenagers who are thinking about using drugs or turning to them to help their lives issues. It is a must read book! I really felt bad for Alice's sister and brother because of everything that she put them through. But I must give it to her parents because no matter what she did her parents always loved her and wanted her home. No matter what her problem was.************READ THIS BOOK!****************

It goes out to show teens that life is hard and you can't let peer pressure get to you or else it will catch up to you in the long run. I recommened this book to anyone, but mainly teens.
Rating: Summary: Emotional Journey Review: My daughter read this book as one of a selection of books to read for a school book report. I looked at it with dismay- the sex, the drugs, the emotional turmoil of it all, worried me. Then I observed as my daughter drank it all in. She was totally involved, she asked questions, reasoned through the problems Alice experienced, and laughed and cried with her exploits. At the end of the book she had learned, experienced and wondered at it all. She enjoyed the book and I think that she benefitted from it a great deal, as did I when I read it too.
Rating: Summary: A Real Page Turner Review: Go Ask Alice was a wonderful book that kept my attention. I felt compelled to finish it as soon as I began reading it. Many authors don't expose the harsh reality that teens go through and for those teens who experienced problems themselves or through a friend, this is a great book to relate to. At times, I could literally cry when reading how rough this girl's life was and I could feel her pain. To think of the tragedy this girl experienced at such a young age is heartbreaking. I think any teenager would benefit from reading this book and for those who take things for granted..this is a real wake-up call.

Rating: Summary: Who is Alice? Review: This book is so incredible. Even though this is a short book it takes you awhile to take it all in. After I closed the book I sat there stunned holding back tears. Alice is just your average girl who stumbles into the world of drugs. I just wanted to jump into the book and help her but I couldn't. The part that touched me the deepest is that Alice was a real person and she was writing about her life. I would encourage all to read this. Due to it's intense nature it is a book for teens and adults.

Rating: Summary: Go ask Alice who Beatrice Sparks is- laughable fraud Review: It cannot be said often enough that this is a complete work of fraud. "Go Ask Alice," is a fictional account of a teenager's descent into drug addiction. Again- *fictional*. 'Edited' by Dr. Beatrice Sparks, whose other 'work' with teenagers reveals the transparent agendas: Sparks has worked with Annie (pregnancy), Nancy (date rape/AIDS), Jay (drugs/Satanism) or Jennie (pills), or even Sam (gang violence). There are hundred thousand other books that capably elucidate the reality of drug addiction. 'Go Ask Alice' is a misinformative piece of propaganda that will not teach the truth, only distort it.
Rating: Summary: Yep, this is my review for school. Review: After reading this book, it took me a while to really think about my real opinion. I see it from many different point of views though. On the good side of it, it shows reality in teenage life and all the effects of drugs in our wonderful world today. I think all adults and especially parents should read this to give them a little insight into a teenager's life. On the flip side of things, she didn't know anything about drugs and i don't know anyone who gives away so many drugs for free all the time. In a way it seems very real but it seems so fake in many others. Over all i thought it was a darn good book. I suggest it to anyone who watns to know about what it's like to be a ... up teenager in ... up world.
