Summary: Go Ask Alice
Review: Go Ask Alice is an excellent book about a girl in her teen years going through a life of drugs. This book is so entertaining I couldn't put it down. All the events that happen in this diary are not only true but unforgetable.
When this anonymous girl runs away, does drugs, and gets sucked into a another world that she can't seem to get away from. The only thing that kept this girl alive was her diary. If you like graphic horrifying reality or any kind of drug use in a book or movie, I am more then positve that you will like this book. Go Ask Alice is a superb example of a novel. Not only I would recommend this book for teens but their parents as well.

Summary: Go Ask Alice
Review: "Go Ask Alice" is a great story and I would reccommend it to anyone that enjoys reading diaries. In this diary this girl started off like any normal girl who had a loving family. One night at a party she had tried LSD, and because it was such a great experience, she wanted to explore all the other drugs other than that. When she finally realized that drugs weren't the answer she stopped but he life had changed so much and it would never be the same. Throughout the rest of the school year she was harrassed by all the students and she was known to be the one that always did drugs. You may think that it is okay to try just a few drugs but it's not. They're dangerous and will ruin your life just like they did to her. After reading this true story, I hope teenagers will start to think twice. I encourage everyone possible, even parents, to read this book and see what it's like. You will definately think twice!

Review: If you are doing drugs, if you used to do drugs, if you are thinking about doing drugs, if you are hanging out with people who do drugs, or if you think you'll never ever try drugs, read this book.

Summary: WOW
Review: This is an awesome book about a teen girl. What makes it even better is that it is the diary of an actual girl. They change all the names but it still is awesome. I was deeply touched by this book having gone through some of the same things in my own family. I recommend this book to everyone. It is a great read!!!

Summary: Go Ask Amy about Alyce
Review: This was a good book! I really liked it! It was very real, sad, happy, crazy, and just totally emotional. It's a real page turner, since this book was a diary. I could barely put it down, because it seemed like at evey page a new event would happen, and change the whole coarse of the story. Sometimes big events just come out of no where, but if you keep reading you'll eventually get caught back up in her life. You should really check it out, you'll learn about lifes problems with friends, family, drugs, happiness, etc. and how hard it can be for some people. So, thats why I really liked it.....you probably would too!

Summary: Asking Christine...
Review: I read the book "Go Ask Alice". It is about a girl who is 15 and is doing drugs. Her whole life is screwed up because of the drugs and this story is her diary of her time with drugs and trying to get out. Within the book there are many things which are left blank, like names and dates, to keep the confidentiality of the writer.

I thought this was a very good book because if you are someone who has done drugs then it can be a very helpful thing to work with any problems you might be having. And if you have not done any drugs befor then it can help you to understand more about them. I know that it helped me realize the full effects of drugs.

This book is also very good because of the incredable description that is incorperated into her drug experiences. She goes through amazing trips and because of the description you can see what she is feeling and why she feels so strongly repulsed by the drugs.

Summary: Go Ask Alice-A Review
Review: This amazing story about a teenage girl on drugs is one that anyone and everyone who has ever thought about doing or is currently doing drugs must absolutely read. The diary form of the book makes it even more real and down to earth. Overall, I would give this book a 10 out of 10, and would reccommend it to everyone!

Summary: a definate read
Review: "Go Ask Alice" was a really meloncholy book. I know that when doctors, speakers, etc. may come to your school and try to tell you not to do this or that involving drugs but I know that really didn't help to do anything but make drugs indifferent to me. Choosing whether or not to do Drugs is a personal choice. People can't make you choose to or not to do drugs, they can only influence that choice. The book really shows you what it really is like to be a drug user. Though "Alice" had LSD slipped into her drink. She herself chose to keep doing drugs. Anyone who really is just unsure of doing drugs should read it and choose a path for themselves

Summary: Blatant (...)
Review: Whoa boy, did this book stink! Do not read this under any circumstance! It took only an evening to read and I want that evening of my life back. The blurb says this book is "based" on the diary of a 15-year-old girl, which is in my opinion an obvious gimmick and hoax. The whole "harrowing progression into the mad world of addiction" is a severe cliche. It follows the formula of a made-for-TV movie or an afterschool special. Don't get me wrong, there are some realistic touches, and in general it's a well-constructed piece of (...) It has the opposite intended effect--I think it's this kind of piece that turns kids ON to drugs...at least the ones intelligent enough not to be condescended to.

Summary: Changed
Review: This book has really changed my perspective on things. Because it was funny how she was all sweet and innocent...talked perfect..didn't cuss..until she hung out with the wrong crowd. I do think that her parents had a part in this, because I felt like they didn't really listen to what she had to say, and I think that all parents need to try and work on that. But the wrong friends that you hang out with, can get you into things you haven't experienced and don't really want to experience...but the pressure just makes you give in. Anyways, I really liked this book..and it's starting to show me the way people change..and how they do it sooooo easily.
