Summary: Every teen should read this!
Review: I work with teens in the summer, outside of a classroom setting. Where that situation gives me a greater glimpse at their personal lives and beliefs, it does not allow me to assign reading to them. Darn.

Why? Because, in a heartbeat, I would make them read this book. I read it in a day, mesmerized by the diary of this unknown girl and her difficulties with school, family, friends, and most of all, drugs.

This book gives you more than just some insight. It takes you there--takes you to the absolute heartache of her parents, to her personal struggles, and, most importantly, it makes you look inside of yourself. Could this ever happen to me? When I was a teen, was I that insecure? Could I have relied on drugs? What will happen to those around me that I love, my family and friends that could be influenced by the terrible world of drugs?

Go read it, and then share it, with your friends, family, ANYONE.
Because it could happen to you.

Summary: I thought this book was great!
Review: I thought Go Ask Alice was a wonderful book. I think alot of people its like to have a family member on drugs. It's just nice to know that you're not alone. This book ran chills of hatred. It made me hold my breath, and made me realize how lucky. I have it at my house. When someone has nowhere elsen to turn to, why would you turn to drugs? They need the bible or friends and family.I loved the book, but i hated Alice!

Summary: Great book..
Review: I was assigned this book for a class, and when I first picked it up, I thought, "This has got to be the most pointless book." But was I wrong! I found myself engrossed in it, and it truly does feel like you the person writing the diary. It's such a good book because we all know the horror and danger of drugs, but we never really get to see what happens to a person on drugs. It creates a picture for us that helps us stay away from these things because we know what it can do to people who are on them.

Summary: captivating
Review: "go ask alice" is the best out of any book of its kind. it capitvates the reader into her world, and though at points leaves you a bit puzzled, is fabulous. it's unbelievable to some of us that a person could actually live the way she does... and her world becomes our own as we travel deeper into the endless boundaries of her addiction...

Review: A pretty good book, but not as good as it could be. Read it if you want. Everything that can go wrong goes wrong. Too bad.

Summary: Go ask alice BR
Review: Go ask alice is a book about a girl in high school that starts getting into the habit of using drugs. She runs away about 3 or 4 times in the whole book. She soon finds out that drugs are really bad for you. But I guess she found out about it too late because by the time she found out she was dead! When I finished reading this book I decided never to use drugs again.

Summary: Go ask Tom or Sam or Mike....anybody !!!
Review: This is a phenomenal book for keeping one off of drugs if they have already decided not to use them. Reccommended for ages twelve to sixteen. Anyone older should try Burroughs or Welsh.

Summary: a disturbing look at a teens life
Review: This is the most moving book i have ever read. It shows the ups and downs of a drug users life straight from an abuser.

Summary: Go Ask Alice
Review: In my opinion this is an excellent book. This book can show you the real effects drugs can have on your life.
After reading it, and seeing what one simple drug can lead you to, the answer I have about drug use will remain the same, simply no. And if alot of other people my age or any age gets a chance to read it, they will have the same answer.
Don't pass up reading this book, because I gaurantee once you start you will finish!!

Summary: a wonderful book
Review: This book is about a teenager name Alice. She and her family move to a different city. She started school off great and had good grades until she met the wrong crowd. She began using drugs.
I think this book teaches you about life and drugs and why you should not use drugs.
