Summary: Go Ask Alice
Review: Go Ask Alice was a great book. This book was a diary of a teenage girl named Alice. In this Diary that Alice kept, written in it was he whole teenage life story. Alice has been under a lot of pressure from people at school, but not her parents. Her parents are very understandable and is always there for Alice when she needs them. Alice has gone through drug offerings, death of relatives, and loneness. Alice has done many wrong things in her life while she was in high school. Alice has also learned from she mistakes and keeps telling herself that she need to fix her past so she can have a better future.
I thought the diary was written with a lot of detail. Alice did a great job of keeping a diary of her everyday life. Alice is a very daring and brave teenager. She is not always a great role model, but most of the time she helps her family out and sets a good model in front of her younger sister and younger brother.
I liked this book because it told me about life as a teenager, even though I am not a girl. I now know what goes on in high school and that people will offer others drugs. I also know now to refuse the offer because it can harm my body really badly. Now that I have read this book I know now what I need to look out for in high school, and to walk away before i get involved.

Summary: Book Review
Review: This bookfirst caught my eye when they had my name on it. Alice. So i picked up the book and read the back of it. It was very interesting, i thought, to read about a girls life intangled with drugs. I wondered how it would be like, and that is why i chose to read this book.
When i read it at first, I thought her life woul end right then and there! With sucha scary life, i doubt she would continue on living. The really interesting part is how she describes how it feels like when she is drugged. The scariest part was when she was overdosed with a "bummer" and started hallucinating and injured herself in the process.
The book gives a good view of the character, what she has been through and no detail is missed. It gives you a thorough mind of how drugs can ruin your life, and many kids who read it will figure out the message that drugs is really bad. I hope this book influences kids to not take drugs. This book is excellent!

Have you ever used drugs? In this book, Go Ask Alice , a young teenage girl will do anything to her drugs. She can't seem to overcome obstacles in her life, and we don't know if she really wants to or not! She has a lot of problems at home, and she takes them to the streets with her.
In the first half of the book, Alice starts off good. She does not smoke or have sex. The, she starts hanging around the wrong kind of kids at her school. Alice starts going to drug parties. She gets hooked on to drugs and that's when all the action starts with her.
Alice starts to become addicted to marijuana and speed. To get these two drugs, she turned to prostitution to pay for the drugs. She runs away with a boy for a month and she tries to quit drugs, but she couldn't stop. She kept doing them and then she gets into trouble with the law. Alice goes to a hospital for a while and some boys lie about her and say that she tried to sell them drugs. As a result, she gets put into a mental institution. Eventually, she gets out because they find out that she's not crazy.
Alice is one of those types that wants to do right but needs help dealing with her problems. She asks God for help and when she does not get it, she gets mad. She needs patience because things will not always go her way when she wants them to. She's under a lot of stress because her grandparents die and kids are picking on her.
Alice had a good relationship with her grandma. They went out to places and spent time together. She was not doing drugs or having sex when she spent time with her grandma. Alice helped her grandma with her grandpa because he was sick. They all got along together well.
In conclusion, the writer wants to point out the fact that you should watch who you hang around with. People will turn on you as quick as they can. That's a life lesson for you: watch and always be aware of what you do.

If your a teenager who goes to high school, then you will understand the curiosity and pressures of taking drugs. Go Ask Alice will show you how curiosity can turn into addiction and turn your world upside down.
This book is based on a true story about a girl named Alice. She gets curious about taking drugs so she starts to meet people who do drugs. She soon gets addicted and gets into all sorts of trouble.
Even though 'Alice' writes her thoughts in a diary for herself we can learn from her words. For example, she writes, 'Anyone who says pot and acid are not addicting is a damn, stupid, raving, idiot, unenlightened fool!' This is what she says after she gets addicted and tries to quit. No one ever told her how bad drugs really are but her curiosity got her into it. She tried it once and was hooked. Hopefully you won't make the same mistake.
The trouble with today's teenagers is that they are getting to experimental. The problem is that they don't realize how hung up they can really get on drugs.
I chose to read this book because I wanted to know how bad drugs can really be instead of trying them for myself. Now I am recommending this book to anyone who is thinking about taking drugs, to possibly change their minds and make the right choice. ...

Summary: This is really interesting book.
Review: ...I like this book a lot, because it is really interesting. The book is about girl who is about our age going through difficult time of stage in her life.
Alice is a girl who has a lot of problems with her friends. She moves to a new school makes a lot of wicked friends. They made her do bad stuff. Alice even tried using drugs even though she knew that using drugs is really vile for her health. She had too many problems; she couldn¡¯t help her self. When she fist use drugs, she felt as if she were free, and she thought using drugs are beautiful, and amazing. She couldn¡¯t stop using them.
Finally, when she felt that drugs are dangerous and harmful for her self, she stopped using them and worked harder on her schoolwork. Also tried to avoid her friends, but it wasn¡¯t easy at all.
In conclusion, I was really happy that Alice changed her mind and made her new life. After I read this book, I learnt a lot of new things. I know that I¡¯m not going to make awful friends like Alice. By reading this book I felt stronger and that I should always have my own opinions.
