Summary: Great book!!
Review: I am a 16 year old and I learned a lesson from this book. I think all teenagers, or parents of teenagers, should buy & read this book. Go Ask Alice is a great book describing the fears, feats, and emotions of a teenage girl on drugs away from her family, living by the way of the streets. I cried with the girl in the book and I laughed with the girl in this book. Most of all, while reading this book, I learned a lesson: drugs COMPLETELY mess up your life and that family should never be taken for granted. Yes, i did know these things before but reading this book helped me open up my mind and realize actually how important life is and it should not be taken for granted. This book was great - I could NOT put it down. If you want to know what a drug life is (even though it has somewhat changed from the 60's which was the time period of this book) read this. It is an excellent book.

Summary: AsK aLiCe
Review: Go Ask Alice anonymously written was an interesting read. Alice being a typical teenager whom I could relate to, experiences experimentation, addiction, and temptation. Alice is just a normal girl with a normal family going through some normal problems, which I enjoyed. I like the fact that the book is so real and gives people a taste of reality and what a teen's life can be full of. On page eighty-three Alice states "After you've had it there isn't a life with out drugs'." and I absolutely agree.

This book really explains how dangerous drug use is and can be. Which is indeed true. And having a best friend in a similar situation I was really touched by this book. But I believe dealing with drug addiction these days is a lot more difficult then in Alice's day.

I would recommend this book to all teenagers with an interest in current issues among peers, to adults with an interest in helping their children or to anyone who needs a wakeup call on the dangers of drugs. This book gives readers a view inside the personal struggles of a teenage girls life and her drug addiction. I would also like to thank this book for helping me personally, without it I would have never understood my best friend.

Summary: An Amazing story
Review: I had to read this book for my English class. At first I though that this book was goin to be just like every other book I have read in my Engish classes. At the begining the book was pretty boring, but it soon began to get interesting. Alice was drugged at a party without her knowing. The first drug Alice ever tried was LSD, but from there it lead to harder drugs. It was shocking after I read all the things that Alice was willing to do just to get the drugs. After I finish the book I was sure that I would never do drugs because it was horrible what happen to Alice and all the things she went through. All the things that happen and the things people she met did to her were gross. While reading this book I was thinking this could be one of my friends or even my sister. In this book i learn thing that drugs do to you that nobody will tell you that will happen once you have tried drugs. The people who sell drug don't care about what happens to you all they care about is the money. Before trying drugs you should really think about waht it will do to your life. Is it really worth it? You may think that there's no one who cares about you or someone who will miss you if you die. I know that if some one who I really care about died of an overdose i would do anything to punish hte people who killed my loved one. At first Alice may seem like a person who wasn't really real, but once you're finish you'll always remember Alice where ever you go.

Summary: Go ask alice
Review: Go ask Alice is based on a true story, and the author of this book was anonymous. Go ask Alice is not so much of a book, but a diary she writes in about her life. Alice talks about her life and beyond. Her life starts out great, but she gets turned around and starts hanging out with people that do drugs. She gets addicted and starts experimenting with more drugs (LSD) and becomes careless about her life. Flaunting her body off and has been doing immoral behavior. She tries to quit but she is just too addictive to them. She finds her self-growing away from her family as time goes on. Traveling to big cities, she rides with truck drivers to get where she wants to go, and living in run downed apartments. Alice then starts to get her life back on track, but then something happens. Therefore, after reading this you think life is not so bad. I myself recommend this book because it was very interesting and detailed.

Summary: I'm Glad I went and Asked Alice
Review: I thought that this book was wonderful in a way that it teaches a lesson. I felt that it was gripping to the end and although like others i wasn't happy with the ending the expierence was worth it. I would recommend this to anyone but only if you don't mind things getting a little graphic now and then.

Summary: Great
Review: I can relate to this girl. I recommend this book to all the teenagers who are going through the same pain of drug addiction or/and pressure and depression. And to the adults. I have a doubt whether this "real life diary"was written by a person or was made up by an author.

Summary: To: A USA reader....who has previously written a review
Review: To whom ever wrote the review claming that this book is a fraud and that its not actually a true story obviously does not know what their talking about. Do you have any proof that its a fraud? These types of things happen to every day teens all the time, its not 'make believe' so maybe you should think about what you talking about before you go around discouraging people to read this book. Its a great book despite what some people may 'think' they know. If your a teenager or a parent of a teenager I recommend that you read this book. It is very insightfull.
