Rating: 3 stars
Summary: Book for people that are inexperienced with the drug world
Review: I liked the book though i give it 3 stars.I read the book like any other book.It was disturbing at some point, but drug life can be much harder than this.I don't think it gives a good perception on how it is to be young and a drugg addict. It is worse. And I am talking about the real abusers ,not the party users. Some of what the book tells is good described, but it is missing so much. I do not believe it is a true story, because of many reasons.

1) How can you be high on drugs and use such a perfect language?
She seems like such a bright girl who would never go on with using drugs after the first time she tried it.I dont meen that drugusers are stupid, but they are weak...and this girl is far from weak.

2) the story must be fictional, written by a bunch of authors that want to scare young people from drugs. They believe that this is how teenagers live. I believe that they want to show that it could happen to anyone...and that is not true. Everybody can try drugs but not everyone gets hooked.I talk from my own experiences.

3)When you are 15 years old and into drugs, you dont have time for writing a diary. It is buisy enough as it is keeping everything under control...and the last thing you want to do is keep record of how you are destroying your life and you try to hide it from your parents to the end.

Summary: All About Alice
Review: This book has been by far one of the best books I have ever read. When I read this book I felt like I could relate to Alice. I havent done many things that she has been through, but I am the same age and it is also for me a time of pressure. This book made me realize the whole world of drugs and the people in it. Because of this book I may add that I do not do drugs. This book has thought me alot about Friendship, Peer pressure, Drugs, Family and Trust. I would recommend everyone to read this book. No matter what age. Ask long as you are able to read and have imagionation then go for it. This book made me cry because of the truth in it. This book tells you things flat out. No hiding in between the lines. Its just the absoulute truth and thats all. Read this book, enjoy it, I know I did and you will too. Its worth reading whether if its for a day or two. Have fun reading this book, Go Ask Alice is a masterpiece. A teenagers guide into the real world as I call it. This book guided me into the right path of no drugs and alcohol. Get this book for someone whos world is changing or about to change, whether their doing drugs or not. Get this book for anyone. It might just help them like it helped me.

Summary: A lie, but a beautiful one.
Review: Any person who reads this book will be amazed by Alice's systematic fall into the "world of drugs." She seems to do everything that parents teach their kids that drugs will do to you. She falls from a straight-A student into a homeless prostitute for drugs in less than a year. And the reason why is because this book is fictional anti-drug propaganda. Most reports say it was written by a pschologist and that Alice is a conglomeration of stories told by her patients. Any close examination of this book will lead you to be skeptical about its truthfullness. For example, drug dealers are refered to as "pushers" by Alice. This term was generally used only by adults in this time period and would have been weird for a teenager to say.
However, regardless of whether its true or not, this is a very entertaining book with a progandized but interesting message. It gives a glipse, possibly false a false one, but none the less a glipse of what it was like to be a teenager in 1967.

Summary: Go Ask Alice
Review: This book was about a teen that she was in drugs and gangs. But first she was the happiest person in the whole earth. Then have the next day she was thinking that the grass had never smelled grassier, the sky had never seemed so high. That part Alice was thinking about drugs. The must part I did not like that she was using a lot of drugs and that is not for a teen-age.But the book was really good because I know that at the end of the book Alice knows that she did a big mistake to be using a lot of drugs.I recomend this book because it is a real story about teens that they use drugs.

Summary: " Go Ask Alice"
Review: "Last night was the night, friend! I finally smoked pot and it was better than I expected!"
Alice, a fifteen year-old girl, has just been introduced to drugs. She loves it! Everything is going her way in life (so far); she's full of energy and glee. She's selling drugs to grade kids and high school kids, has a nice boyfriend named Richie, and is no longer a loner, but the most popular girl at school!
On the outside, no one suspects anything. [Her mother a housewife, her dad a professor at a university, and her brother and sister A+ students.] No one has problems, especially not drug problems. No one, but Alice.
Now, it's been almost one year and life isn't so good anymore. Alice's grandpa is ill, she's dreaming bizarre things and waking up naked, and getting pain killing headaches. Everywhere she goes she sees drug sellers and people fixated on drugs. Alice is starting to realize that drugs are ruining people's lives everyday, so she decides to stop. However her "friends" are pushing her to do more and more drugs, sneaking them into her food and drinks, menacing her, smirking at her every time they see her.
One thing led that led to Alice's problems is that she never asked questions before doing something that's how she got into drugs and that's what you should do everyday. ALWAYS ask questions.
This book made my eyes stay wide open at one o'clock in the morning. I've read this book twice and each time it has made me laugh, it has made me angry, and it has made me cry in gref. Alice flashbacks in her diary and is fast in jumping from one subject to another. I think girls between ages thirteen and eighteen would like this book. It talks about a lot of mature adult things and is for mature readers. Other books like Go Ask Alice are: AreYouThere God It's Me Margaret and Deenie by Judy Blume all these books are about a girl's struggle with womanhood. Now don't you see why you have to run to your local library and check out Go Ask Alice? By an Anonymous author (who is really Alice)

Summary: Go Ask Alice
Review: 'They're trying to poison me! Why, why would they try to poison me?'
This isn't a dream or the words of a fictional character. These are the actual words of a frightened fifteen year-old girl whose story is told in the book Go Ask Alice by an anonymous author. A girl whose 'friends' are trying to poison her. Life is already difficult for Alice since she has no friends to talk to or just hang out with, but things just become worse after a visit to her grandparent's house. All she can do is 'tell' her only trustworthy friend, her diary. In this anonymous diary, Alice's family doesn't notice the change in her and those who do know are involved in drugs. She tries to be her old self again with help from friends and family.
Have you ever read a book that you just couldn't put down? One that you just had to keep reading because you couldn't wait to find out what happened? These were my reactions throughout this amazing book. At times I was even frightened. As I got to learn more and more about Alice I felt that in some way I knew her. I could only imagine everything she went through. This book was like a rollercoaster with twists and turns every which way. I was pulled into her world and felt as though I couldn't get out. It's like nothing that I've ever read before.
I think that teenage girls or anyone else who is experiencing a lot of peer pressure would enjoy reading this great book. They could probably relate to Alice and learn from her mistakes that lead to drugs. It showed me how not everyone may want to be your friends and sometimes those people may want to do just about anything to hurt you.
We learn that drugs and alcohol aren't good for us from our parents and teachers in school but most of us teenagers don't really seem to care until we hear it from someone else. We just think it's stupid when adults repeat thing over and over again. That's why reading Go Ask Alice may get the attention from teenagers who just don't want to listen to others trying to help them. It'll teach them what may happen if you decide to do drugs or anything else that is going to harm you. Just one simple thing you may do could change your life forever.
