Summary: My fave book
Review: This is my most fave book ever I have read a million times and I bring just about every where. It is about a daring girl and her brother, that can read her mind, that go of to save their father that is a well known scientist. It is a must read!!!

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: finally getting around to it
Review: this was one of those books that was on my "to read" list for a few decades, and i finally managed to get around to it this month. rather glad that i did, as i enjoyed it muchly.

too many "childrens" books are written down to an audience that is wiser than acknowledged, but this sure aint one of them. it expects its reader to have at least a familiarity with scientific concepts, in name if not in detail. how wonderful of an author to demand intelligence from her readers!

as to the story quality, i am stopping short of giving this five stars in that the last quarter or so of the book is just a let-down from the exciting and funny nature of the earlier portions. once father comes into the story, it is as though the kids lose their inventiveness and become plot ploys. its a minor quibble, but what the hey?

i will certainly now follow up and read the subsequent books in the series by madeleine l'engle. brava!

Summary: A Timeless Classic For Kids Of ALL Ages
Review: But I wanna tesseract nowwww! This story has a awe inspiring plot. A young girl must make a decision that will change her life forever and teach her the meaning of love and friendship. The sci-fi like tesseracting and the Borg-like IT that puts the ITs in IT on the planet Camamoz are just pieces of the many interesting parts that weave this masterpiece of a story.

Summary: You've got to read this!
Review: A Wrincle in Time is science fiction. It has well-developed characters including Meg Murry and her younger brother Charles Wallace. After reading A Wrinkle in Time, you will be more informed about tesseracts, love, and friendship. An easy read.

Summary: The most important book of my childhood.
Review: I still have my original copy, and I reread it every few years. I tried to read it to my son when he was five, but he wasn't ready. He's seven now and I can't wait to try again soon. This book has so much to offer, on many levels. You don't need to be a sophisticated person to understand the meaning.

One of my favorite things about the book is that the characters show up in other Madeleine L'Engle books. I've read almost all of them. I used to love making diagrams to show how the characters were all related. If you want to start reading her books, this is the one to read first. I hope it's as special for you as it has been for me.

Summary: Undeniably one of the best books ever
Review: From the first time I read this book, I knew that I was hooked. Ever since that day, which was in the early 80s, I have read at least one L'Engle book a year, normally three or four. She is an amazing writer, a kind and generous person and "A Wrinkle In Time," the book that started it all, is still one her best books.

Summary: Excellent two day read
Review: I just finished this book today and I really enjoyed it. I started it two days ago and because I have a cold right now...I am done with the book. I enjoyed the characters and the mood of the story. It had just the right amount of "love", suspence(spelling?), action, sci-fi info, ext. I hope you enjoy the book as much as I did.

Summary: My childhood fav...now it is my son's....
Review: You know I saw this book last summer at a yard sale and was just blown away by the memories of reading this book when i was little in elementry school. I had to get this book for my boys. But I passed it by....then this year my oldest brought it home from school. We read as a family. i believe the a child should have a strong since of imagination. And we read this book within 3 nights. And when it was finshed they just talked and dreamed. it was a wonderful thing to see them excited about a story. I don't believe in giving away details, but if you are trying to get your child started into reading. Do them a favor and get them something they will enjoy....and you. I now want to buy them the whole set that goes to this beginning chapter. If you want to read them something that they will interact with...then buy them this book.

Summary: Finnley's 6 yr. old review
Review: i liked it because it was funny and i liked it because it was spooky, but i wasn't scared. its in a big thing, a very shiny tray, the brain lays there. charles got caught. meg relized that it didn't have love.

if your 16 then you can read it alone. if you're 6 then read it with your mom or dad.

its a long book with really long chapters so it'll take quite a while. maybe read some chapters during the day
