With the help of three mysterious women, they ventour into this unkown world by means of scientific theory, a shortcut called a tesseract. Madeleine L'Engle really brought the characters to life. A Wrinkle in Time is as much an adventure as it is heart warming.
Rating: Summary: Over-all good book Review: "A Wrinkle in Time" is a wonderfully adventurous story. It had been given to me, but I simply stashed it away until about two months ago-- I took it out of one of my (many) boxes and took it with me on my long flight to Hawaii. When I finally decided that I'd give the book a try, I was certainly not disappointed I did! The flight took up about half the day, and I was almost finished with the book when we landed in Honolulu. Even though I was on vacation to see family, I still made time to finish the lovely book that had kept me from dying of boredom on the plane. The reason I rated it four stars and not five, is because of the part in the book when Mrs. Whatsit tried to explain what wrinkling was. That part confused me a bit, but other than that, it was a most wonderful story. RECOMMENDED FOR AGES 9-13
